illegalactivity
I did some searching on Google and it is recommended to end this process immediatly. When I open the task manager and disable the processs and its tree,it stars running again after a short while. And i also ran a search for spoolsv in all files and folders, and guess what, spoolsv is in 2 directories, one is in system32 and the other one is in service pack files. So i have this anti-spyware app called Ashampoo Anti-Spyware which has a tool to remove a file without ever recovering again, and since i have no printer,i permanently removed spoolsv in both directories, the one in service pack files deleted nicely but the one in system32 is still sitting there no matter how many times i delete it.Now this is a big f*cking problem. How can I remove spoolsv.exe once and for all ? H4milton
1st u need to end process and then delete it from system32. All process wont start if u reboot and start ur pc with safe mode. just before loading windows xp or vista hit the F8 button to acces advanced startup mode and select SAFE MODE. And u can also do that by system restore.

Forfit
Go to Run... Type "msconfig" (without the quotes) Select the SERVICES TAB, scroll down to where it says Print Spooler and uncheck the box, apply and ok. It disables the process.
Democrab
First of all, Why do you want to delete the Print Spooler..? You do know you won't be able to print anything if you disable it.

Crokey
First of all, Why do you want to delete the Print Spooler..? You do know you won't be able to print anything if you disable it. and since i have no printer Still, why do you want to delete the print spooler? Many programs still utilise the print spooler service and not nessesarily for printing purposes, that's why it's starts up even after you end the task. Also, don't stop the service in msconfig, open up the run command (Start > Run) type services <enter>, then find the printer service and then right click > properties, then set the service to start manually, this will then make the service run when needed and not all the time. Besides there is no harm in the print spooler running, it isn't a 'nasty' process especially since it's in the directories that it's supposed to be in (hence not spy/malware), it's a core windows service that although may be fairly useless if you don't have a printer, isn't a problem service and is relatively small.
