LiTtLe_BaStEd Posted April 3, 2008 Share Posted April 3, 2008 (edited) Im trying to help out my friend with alot of sh*t on his vista laptop but this time im trying to connect his xbox 360 into the VISTA laptop so he can go onto xbox live and his laptop has a USB modem but i have COMPLEATLY NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!!!!!!!!!! the xbox 360 cant find the gatewaty code of whatever and i have no idea how to set up a bridge connecton!! Anyway can anyone help me out r give me a step by step thing on exactly how to set it up i have looked it MILLIONS! of websites and im still having trubble i dont like vista!! Please explain, clearly, wtf you're trying to do and what you're using to do it. im trying to do ICS with my friends vista laptop and he has a usb modem and the xbox 360 is onnected with a eathnet cable into the laptop but i have no idea how to set it up so t will work this stuff is fu*king up my brain!!!!1!1!!!1!!! Picolini Posted April 3, 2008 Share Posted April 3, 2008 he should have media center that he can just use to connect to the 360!!!!!1!!!11!!!1111one Just start up Media Center on his laptop, then go to Media center on his 360 and I believe it'll have a way to connect to a PC on there!!!!111!!!!!!!!11!!!!!!1 It should search and find it, then give you an 8 digit code. On his laptop go to Extenders and enter that number. I'm pretty sure that's how you do. I'm also pretty sure this is all available with a simple google search. Also take a look at this. There's another link in there that shows how to do ICS though Vista. We also have an Official XBOX360 topic in gaming chat. Throw a post in there and see if any of those guys can help you.
