fanboykiller777
Any one from manhattan brooklyn queens or bronx hyped about seeing how accurate they got the neighborhoods? i seen a screen shot not too long ago of niko and behind him were stores like dr.jays(jr.jays) and v.i.m(g.i.m) so i know they have downtown brooklyn in the game. Vanilla Shake
I'm from Queens. The main reason why I want this game is because it's set in New York and actually feels and looks like New York. If it were set in any other city I wouldn't be as interested as I am. TC718 / <629 / CF5

Gjones712
Born in the Bronx.. Moved to Harlem when I was pretty young... then moved back to the Bronx about 8 years back. When I saw the variant Dr. Jays and V.I.M. in the background of that screenshot, I got pretty excited because, for the most part, those stores are in lower income areas... which video games seem to always neglect. It just proved to me that they were going for the complete experience that NYC brings... and not just what you see on TV and in tourism brouchers. What I love is the fact that they're making something that even lifelong New Yorkers like myself can respect and relate to... and not just some outside opinion of what New York is. And that's why I love Rockstar.

farouq710
I grew up in bayridge, brooklyn and have lived in staten island and live in jamaica, queens now. I'm curious to see how accurate they made the outer boroughs. I'm excited about algonquin but manhattan has been done to death in films and tv and the outer boroughs are usually either exagerrated or non realistic. Lazer-
i live in manhattan, midtown west or as the neighborhood is called, hell's kitchen. it's vaguely accurate but not entirely of course. for instance, the heart building is 3 blocks up from my apt on 57th & 8th. in the game it's more like 42nd & 8th since in one of the screenshots, it's directly adjacent to the times square police recruiting building, just a few blocks west of it, which is located at 42nd & broadway just an fyi
RONIN1191
Not anymore, but before I left I was living in the Boogie Down, Parkchester apts on Metropolitan Ave...loved it there. Prior to that, most of my childhood was spent on LI (Suffolk Cty) and before that, Brooklyn. I'm excited to see how R* has realized my hometown. OlSkoolGTA
Im actually from Northern NJ. I live about 30 minutes (faster depending how I drive ) from NYC. The pics ive seen definetly have that "NYC vibe" to them. I go to NYC about once or twice a month, and I get that vibe that Houser explains about in his IGN interviews. The stores. The streets. The peds. It all looks very accurate. I cant wait to play this game. The 29th seems so far haha.
