GTASIX Posted April 3, 2008 Share Posted April 3, 2008 There will be plenty of other games to look forward to, Fable 2, Gears Of War 2, MGS4, and tons of others, even Mortal Kombat is making a next gen game which is going to be sick, so don't get so down they probably will not make another GTA game till the new systems are out in about 4 years anyway. Personally, with the other GTAs, If I had them somewhere in my house, I would still continue to play them (Maybe the missions, but definately free roaming). The game almost never gets boring for me because there is just so much to do in it. And with this game coming out with multiplayer, even more for the excitement! I used to wonder that, but within in a few hours of VC / SA being released this forum was filled with people doing the both at the same time. 5 mins on the forums then 5 mins on the game. What to look forward to then? You'll have what you've been waiting and waiting...and waiting for, for so long. No more getting excited on this site, or any of that stuff. nothing to check up on. its all over. Then its forward to next one. They get one month off; and its back to work. People that are saying 'but we will have GoW2, Fable 2, MGS4 to look forward too....' are right, yes they are comin out but I don't think they can have the same kind of hype/excitement/anticipation as any GTA release will ever give ya! These forums will be buzzing for a long time. yeah tell me about it I saw it happen I had started a topic with a question but when I went back to the topic index for SA I couldn't find my topic anymore it was burried 2 pages behind It stands to reason that traffic on all the GTA forums (especially good ones like this ) will be at its peak in the weeks and months post-release. Especially a game of this magnitude, with literally hundreds of missions/characters/vehicles/weapons and other game details to discuss. This is before you even get started on multi-player issues (of which there will be an endless supply). Just think, in 4 weeks, all of this forum-browsing, new-pic excitement, and obvious anticipation will all be over. How often does a game come out with this much hype? ..not too often. What I'm tryin to say is, YES, april 29th will be GREAT, and the weeks/months following, but then what? The game will have been released, played to death, and all secrets revealed. It may be another 4 years before we can eagerly anticipate a game THIS big, cuz if the next one is still on 360/PS3, it wont be THIS big. I guess all im sayin is ENJOY THE WAITING DAYS. It doesnt happen to often. Hey! dumbass! if you obviously haven't read anything about the game, the story differs everytime you play it, all in the same out comes, but its not like "save this person, if you dont, mission failed, an you re do it" no the story goes on with different effects... oh and there still will be sh*t to talk about on this site, considering there is a multi-player feature, meaning more fun, then just regular play, an im sure once the game is released this site is going to blow up about how great it is, i mean come on people compare gta with halo, how can you never be waiting for number 5 or whatever the next release is going to be called? you're a moron homie. think before you say something retarded like that again please! sorry for the disrespectful first post!! JS1989 Posted April 3, 2008 Share Posted April 3, 2008 I think it will take me about a year Not to get exited when I play my gta4. and about 2 years to get bored, even then I will still be playing it. but the good news is in 2008 saints row 2 is coming out, even though saits row is not better than gta it was still a great game, and saints row 2 is gonna be much better. u have helicopters, bikes, boats, u can chose the interior of your home, totall customization of ur character, and cars, and(hopefully bikes) so the coming 3 years is gonna be great( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't want GTA websites to ruin the surprises and hidden things in GTA IV. I enjoy taking longer amounts of time to find things for myself. Sadly to say, there were plenty of times when I was sober and thinking "Man I can't wait to get back home and have Halo 3 sitting on my bed". It was so sweet when I got home. It's like Christmas, there's only 25 days or so left, and without the days up to christmas eve, everything loses its charmingness.
