Just think, in 4 weeks, all of this forum-browsing, new-pic excitement, and obvious anticipation will all be over. How often does a game come out with this much hype? ..not too often. What I'm tryin to say is, YES, april 29th will be GREAT, and the weeks/months following, but then what? The game will have been released, played to death, and all secrets revealed. It may be another 4 years before we can eagerly anticipate a game THIS big, cuz if the next one is still on 360/PS3, it wont be THIS big. I guess all im sayin is ENJOY THE WAITING DAYS. I doubt I will be bored with this game in 4 years, it seems like ill never get bored with it but yeah, I understand completely what your saying . The excitement of each new little detail culminating in a whole day just enjoying the crafted experience you've been waiting for. Of course, the flip side of that is sometimes you do all the eager waiting and you get Enter The Matrix, but sometimes you get KOTOR, GTA, Mass Effect, Bioshock! It's a wonderful wait. What to look forward to then? You'll have what you've been waiting and waiting...and waiting for, for so long. I'm looking foward to the new Indiana Jones, James Bond, and Batman movies, among things. Nevermind work or school or saving your money for something nice. It doesnt happen to often. I have gotten many weeks of enjoyment from this forum. Rockstars hype machine would be nothing without sites like this. It has all been provided to me for free. I appreciate that very much. I'm sure after the game is released and I am no longer afraid of seeing spoilers and that sort of thing I will come back to talk about multiplayer tactics and anticipate DLC. I work my ass off daily in college, manage a relationship, a social circle, but I still manage to pop on here 2-3 times a day. Life is amazing, but you can't jack a car and blast people in it, eh? wafflemaster Posted April 3, 2008 Share Posted April 3, 2008 Well, I have always been a "Christmas Eve" kind of guy, but on this occasion I am completely done with the build-up, and just want the damn game released, ASAP !! 4 years is far, far too long to wait for a game. I appreciate that GTA will unlikely have this level of pre-game buzz for some time after April 29th, but I would MUCH rather have the game in-hand, with DLC on the way and likely a fresh "same-gen" release in 18 months or so. 26 days to go Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've never been so hyped about a game before, and I love the anticipation and excitement around the forums the week before the release. Expect things to get a lot more exciting round here. But there are tons of other huge games to get hyped about. You're joking aren't you ?? They squeezed 3 games out of the last generation (PS2) and 2 so far on PSP. Why on earth would they go to the trouble of creating a next-gen game engine and then not cash in with at least 1, if not 2 more titles before going to the expense of coding a next next-gen GTA ??
