What I'm getting to is, GTA IV is not on the list. Granted, it isn't out yet, but I'm still a little worried.

Do we know if GTA IV will be rumble compatable?

I hope so and also I would think so. Rumble is in on the xbox so it shouldnt be too difficult to include it. Also they would have to be blind to not know of this controller, they are aware it comes out just before their release so they wouldnt miss the opportunity....I hope tounge.gif

Rockstar confirmed that the Dualshock 3 will be supported in GTA IV, so no worries. smile.gif

Pretty much all the games that come out after April 15th (the NA retail date for the Dualshock 3) will support it.

I cant find a link to confirm this, but it would be great if it is included.

I cant believe it has taken Sony this long to finally add a feature that was standard almost ten years ago.

It isn't that the have been dicking around. The dualshock name/ manufacturer got into some kind of legal dispute and its finally resolved with Sony picking up the slack.

can you not just use the duel shock 2 on the ps3?

You cannot.

Nowhere to plug it in.

Analog on the DS2 isnt too great anyway.

i brought a PS3 a week ago, it came with a wireless six-axis controller, does that mean it rumbles as well??

if so, how do i test it on motorstorm?

To my knowledge they ADDED rumble to GTA 4, that was one of the reasons PS3 was again delayed. That version of GTA that is. biggrin.gif

That is misinformation because I did use a PS2 controller... All you need is the Radio Shack adapter used for PS to PC adaption. It is USB, you know?? confused.gifwink.gif

I meant strictly out-of-the-box.

I still like the better sensitivity and control of the Six-Axis and DS3 though.

To be honest, I don't know why everyone was fussing about rumble in the first place. I actually kind of like not having it rumble.

Yes, the vibration magnets added to the newest PS3 controller. I'll be trying my old PS2 controller. I used it on PS2 games so far (on PS3)

That should be obvious, my friend, but so is the fact there is no PS2 memory card slot on it. That I miss more then the other feature, I am not gung ho on SixAxis. Uncharted uses it best I hear and that's most of my experience. I don't find it better then rumble

Yeah, I really would like my rumble back, but better, and without a wire!

Some people (certain countries especially) have almost no access to places like Radioshack and stuff, thats why I said that.

Some people really have no idea about the features and stuff.

I know some who just assumed their old controllers and memory cards would work with it straight-away.

Ya.

Anyway, it was talked about in one of the previews, and it's listed in the factsheet topic.

The new DualShock 3 controller has been confirmed to work in GTA 4 as the new controller come sout around the same time as GTA 4. The PS3 version of GTA4 will use the Sixaxis controller's motion-sensing abilities "in a way that makes sense," is all Houser will say.

We heard about Dual Shock 3, We heard they were feverishly adding vibration to the game for PS3, what else is there that needs several posted threads about this??

In fact it should be in the pinned topic WHAT WE KNOW thread. D'oh! monocle.gif

I'm really not fussed with it.

The current controllers are fine.

If you get 'em sweaty, just use a USB adapter for the PS2 one! I know there are differences but the comment about Radio Shack, I want to point out, there should be multiple options and they are found on eBay! You don't need brick and mortar stores nowadays
