Good toilet reading rolleyes.gif

Info:

-GTA4 is the first in the series to feature a modern-day setting (April 2008 in this case)

-GTA4 represents a dramatic step forward in its gunplay, allowing you to take cover, navigate environment options, and lock-on by flicking between targets with the right analog stick or manually aim at targets with a full or half-press of the left controller trigger/shoulder button

-Pedestrians drop what they're holding if you startle them, and they'll run to help others in need (and engage you violently if you caused it).

-With pitch-perfect lighting design and a real-time, dynamically cyclical weather system to drive it, every moment spent in Liberty City feels unique.

Why did they say you can manual aim with either a half press or full? It's one or the other...both functions can't do the same thing.

lol.. that's pretty cool how it said that shooting a driver and having him slump over means the car won't necessarily stop, because the corpse's foot will still be on the pedal. happy.gificon14.gif

It's one or the other. Pressing the trigger down all the way is supposed to lock on and pressing it in half way is free aim. What they said essentially is that no matter what you do, full or half way, Niko is going to manually aim...if that's the case then how do you auto-lock?

Just another typical 1up error...pretty disgusting if you ask me.

lol i heard that if they are dead and their head falls down onto the horn you'll just here the horn go off until his head moves, which may get annoying but still funny. =]

I wonder if gunshots will sound car alarms? That would be pretty cool.

Actually, the full quote was that GTA4 was the first in the series to feature a modern day setting with a fleshed-out character. GTA3 also had a modern setting, but the character wasn't defined.

Just to clarify, holding the left trigger/L2 down all the way will engage the lock-on, holding it half way down will enable you to freely aim.
