Dual Shock 3 Use?

Game Informer has posted a news tidbit on their website that the Dual Shock 3 will be released next week, which is news to me since I though they'd be coming out in June. Is GTA IV going to support it? I've got two crappy sixaxises so I really hope it does as I'll probably play this till my batteries run out.
