Now, these are unique builds of GTA and that's why they look so alike, the intent to tweak them ever so slightly to run the best on the given machine, not to outperform one another. Because you can spell and all. I think the answer isn't to do with 360 or the PS3 at all, so shut the 360 bullsh*t up. Why not e-mail Rockstar and ask? Maybe we are seeing PS3 shots. You never know. Apparently there are no graphical differences from console to console - so, in essence, what you see on the xbox screenies should be the same as the PS3, I guess. I'm thinking GTA IV was made seperately for PS3. I could be wrong. This fanboy sh*t is pissing me off. Why do people have to flash their e-dicks and try to prove their console is better? Anyday now To drive the point home, the anti aliasing is something computer gamers want, it will look good depending on how it is processed.. . ie, not fuzzy but more lifelike. Washed out colors are not what I see from my PS3, I can tell you right now, so don't even think that! It's already been said by PLAY magazine, that there ARE NO DIFFERENCES AT f*ckING ALL. So why worry? yeah and it has been said that the PS3 will have a slightly better anti-analysing ( or was it called something else ?) What I mean by that is that you won't see to many pixeled edges on let's say ball shaped objects, be it a pool ball or a car's tire. EDIT: Oh and just in case you should know that I'm NOT a playstation fanboy I'll have both versions on release Maybe I should write that in my sig because I don't want to be called a fanboy If someone is buying both versions he is definitly not a fan boy enough said. salsas Posted April 3, 2008 Share Posted April 3, 2008 Don't worry about the colours deep and all that stuff in ps3, if you configure your ps3 and your tv well, you get very vibrant colours, with superwithe activated and full range rgb, obiously, your tv has to be a good one, and yhe conexion HDMI. I like how nice the PS3 looks off it's included composite video, I send the audio to receiver via optical Toslink. Don't need HDMI if you lack the input... Actualy the fact is that the games on the ps3 and the 360 are most of the time superior on the 360. On the ps3 versions, you can notice aliasing, some bad textures and framerate drops. Thanks for that. If the PS3 graphics are slightly better than the pics and video I've seen so far, I'll be very happy less alaising doesnt mean better graphics. Slamman Posted April 4, 2008 Share Posted April 4, 2008 Praise be to the mods for leaving some PS3 points open to discussion, I know a few of you PS owners are rather disgruntled that we can't discuss our own interpretations on GTA 4 without Xbox and Fanboy being the two most often read words in a particular thread. Rockstar and the media have indicated we would see some actual PS3 video or the like, but I am still left hanging as to where and what it is? I just am rather fed up that we have to worry about the majority of Xbox owners jumping at the bit to throw their opinion around. I know I should stick to topic but for the record, let PS owners and fans discuss here too, it's not an Xbox forum, it's a GTA forum. We welcome anyone with half a brain to discuss things they know about, or ask about those they don't. There's no such thing as a bad question. I always laugh that someone is pronouncing something about the game that is clearly wrong. Anyway, enough with the rant. I really just want to know if trailer 4 was on PS3, once and for all.
