I have a feeling they won't push the clock/day forward. But if they want a sense of reality (to give the impression Niko need sleep) they'll put it in.

I think saving at the safe house will advance time but I doubt the auto save after a mission will.

Pretty sure R* were quoted on it being like that.

The autosave is there to make things easier... It would mess the game up if it advanced six hours everytime you autosaved. For instance, if you made an appointment tomorrow at say 8AM to further one of the ingame relationships, then did a mission that took you to 3AM to finish in gametime, advancing six hours with an autosave would cock you right up.

So they kept it to safe house only.

I used to remember in SA, you had a mission to do at like 00:00 - 02:00, but then when you went and saved your game before that mission, it would jump forward in time. Well it used to happen to me anyway... dontgetit.gif

Sounds like you're referring to the Burglary missions...those had to take place at night; or some of the missions from Sweet I remember it saying you had to come back during a certain time. But at least in SA, you could tell what time it was just by pullin up your stat menu; it'd have the day (Monday, lets say) and time.

I really hope they do, because I hate it in Saint's Row when it gets dark the shops close and you just have to go D### around for 6min until they open again. mad.gif

There were a few missions you had to do at night. Mostly early missions for Grove Street. It sometimes happened to me as well biggrin.gif
