After looking at some of the first posts i ever posted i look through the first topic as well witch made me realize how much I've changed, both IRL and on the internet . Here's the first Post i ever made and here's my first topic. when i first read this topic i played 3h straight to get to the "false idols" mission in the game, but when i tried to open the heli dor it was locked ps. wase playin on the psp when i was wathing the trailer frame by frame i noticed somthing in the last frame that lookt like som houses on the south side of the island.could this mean that the iland will have more use than golf mini games and golfcarts. what was your first post and topic? ryuclan Posted April 2, 2008 Share Posted April 2, 2008 First post: Sorry if any, or all of this has been said but my biggest problem with gta is the fact that anybody can be driving any car, u can pull a hooker out of a semi truck if u wanted to, that really got on my nerves, and i think there should be a system like assasin's creed where u can nudge people slightly or push them out of ur way, i just feel that would be pretty cool, i hate changing my whole course to go around a ped, oh, and i'm new here. I gotta say im glad . The last couple of Batman movies were absolute trash though so anything had to be better than them. What is Micheal caines performance like? (or does he just play Michael Caine again?) FIRST TOPIC/POST - "Mixed Feelings" Im new here so if im doing something wrong please kindly tell me. I am so excited for this game to come out but what excites me even more is that I might be getting it on saturday the 26th! Well at least i hope I will. Before everyone starts yelling about how that isnt possible let me explain. I went to a store, (i will not mention what store that way I can keep my chances of getting it better. read on for reason why) the other day to ask if they would be having GTA VC on tuesday. I went around asking till i found someone who knew what he was talking about, and he told me that they get a shipment of games, including GTA VC, on friday and they are going to be putting them out friday night so people can buy them saturday! I couldn't believe it! And i know they would do this too, they sold Roller Coaster tycoon 2 early as well, and no it isnt walwart. But what sucks is that im stuck going to this engineering thing on saturday so i have to hope my sister gets a copy before people notice they have the game and buy them all. so im pretty nervous. So I have a question. Do you people think i have a chance at getting the game since i didnt pre-order it and since im relying on my sister who doesnt understand how popular this game is? Or am i just screwed.?. I have no clue what engineering thing I went to... funny thing is I'm currently trying to get GTAIV early as well haha. What a strange coincidence... TonyZimmzy Posted April 2, 2008 Share Posted April 2, 2008 I personally hated when I started off in Red County or wherever it is you get dumped by Tenpenny, It was very stale, and it was mainly all about travelling from point A to point B and they were never short journeys, San Fierro was at alot of times a piece of crap aswell, When I finished the game I felt pretty pleased with myself, Took about 2 weeks (Took me a week to just pass flying school - I suck and hate flying), But I was definatly more satisfyed when I finished GTA III, Because back in 2001 or whenever I got GTA III I got pretty close to the end but never completed it, so when I wen't back to it earlier this year and started a new game and actually completed it, it felt amazing! As for storylines go, GTA IV will have a much, much bigger storyline, much much bigger cities, and much much more because the disc can hold more than enough to keep even the most hardcore gammer glued to the seat for a good two - three weeks atleast (and I mean just storyline wise), As for me it'll probaly take about a month because I suck really bad at GTA's I'm still yet to complete GTA Vice City, because my disc broke ages ago and I havn't really been interested in buying a new one, But I probaly will sometime after christmas, and speaking of Christmas I'll probaly get a PSP & GTA LCS for it, And have a nice month of playing that Way to spell, me. I don't think this topic has been covered yet because i searched before so here goes.. Having played all the previous GTA's i have noticed if you use a vehicle and leave it a few moments the vehicle would more likely respawn. I sometimes found this annoying, say you parked the car and needed to return to it to make a quick getaway, but it respawned. I hope it will be more realistic in GTA4 where you leave a car parked and left it there, then returned to it to find it still there or maybe broken into. Perhaps you notice the car getting dirty because you left it for a few days? It would sure look more realistic. Im sure that if you where to be shown two pictures of british countryside scenery and american countryside scenery you would struggle to tell which is which, of course unless the picture is of a well known place. I don't believe I even realized there was a general chat section of the forums until a month after i joined. Stupid me... Anyways: It should be called GTA:San Andreas, but take place in a San Francisco type city. The hills, the old houses and the downtown. They could include Alcatraz, and The Golden Gate Bridge.They could throw a little rural part of the city in. Just 1 big Island and another island half it's size across the golden Gate bridge.
