Drippin'187
im not positive, but im almost certain that the only thing anyone is going to tell you is to go buy the actual game since you just downloaded it off the internet

Drippin'187
Yea it really is worth it, at least that way if you f*ck up your game, you can simply reinstall, so id recommend buying it also, only way your going to get any help around here, and a tip if you do buy it, look for version 1 or 2, because you cant mod version 3 and if im not mistaken i dont think there is any downgrade patch for version 3 either
Girish
As far as I know, v3 is available for download only off Steam or Direct2Drive and you need to buy it. So, it can't be warez. @Bakkhous: Since Vista is confused about its sexuality, it saves the GTA savefiles running under its original compatability in a folder that is in a different location from the one GTA is running under compatabilty for Windows 98/Me. So if you were to start a game in Windows 98/Me compatabilty mode, all your saved games would not be there. To counter this, goto the default directory where GTA saves your game in Vista i.e. C:\Users\your username\Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files. Copy all the files from here to C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files. I hope this works.

Girish
Thank you girishb, that work so now i can load my game on windows 98, but I still cant save, its still saying error please check your saved game dirctory? please help What are your system specs? RAM, Video card, and CPU And the CPU Speed? The specs shouldn't affect the saving part if his game works perfect. As far as I remember, you cannot save your game if you play under Windows XP compatibility. It has to be Windows 98/ME compaitibility only. @Bakkhous: Are you sure you're running on Win 98 compatibility only?
Bakkhous
ya i sometimes got it to work on windows xp, so i could save, but on windows 98 it works all the time, which im happy about, but the problem is i dont want to be stuck in the begining all the time, i want to fly and kill and do many fun things in this "Life Simulator"
