Yup that's what I did.

 

 

well this can be pushed even further...using skiller POPCYCLE codes and my own,i did a TEST CODE using UNUSED GANG 9 various settings to implant a biker gang.

 

the code mod:

-gang 9 models (BIKERS)

-gang 9 cars (FREEWAY)

-gang 9 secondary weapons

-gang 9 density's ("ANGPI","ELQUE" and "PALO" territory's)

-rezone "ANGPI","ELQUE" and "PALO" to GANGLAND

- MOD map colors = DARK PURPLE (grape)

 

steps:

-have one of the "territory glitch " codes saved

-load game with this code on..

-make cj die ( activate the code )

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS IS A TEST CODE (i dont even remember testing it) i only posted it to show the multiple possibility's using the POPCYCLE codes with territory,s density ones.it isnt a finished code,i had it in my files cuz i wanted to work back on it...i just never had time to do so.

@ Ric: Hah, well I turned the Da Nang gang into a biker gang with the biker ped models and 2 or 3 different bikes. I never thought of implementing the unused gangs though, that's a great Idea. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

 

@ skills: if you go here(scroll to #39) you can find the NTSC codes. All you need to do is work out what you want with the raw codes and then convert them to ar max.

they are NTSC RAW codes and can easily be converted to NTSC ARMAX.here's how it works:

 

raw format is unencrypted, its the same format that the game use...depending on what type of cheat-device u use ( in ur case ARMAX ) you'll need to encrypt (convert) the codes to fit the format used by ur cheat-device.

 

how to CONVERT NTSC RAW codes into NTSC ARMAX using OMNICONVERT:

 

#1-download OMNICONVERT.

 

OMNICONVERT converting tool:

>>OMNICONVERT- converter tool

 

#2-INSTALL it on your computer

 

#3-find ntsc raw codes u want to be ntsc armax

 

#4-open omniconvert

 

#5-set input to unencrypted standard (RAW)

 

#6-set output to action replay MAX

 

#7-enter proper GAME ID

 

armax game I.D.s:

NTSCv1 = 069C

PALv1 = 06A3

NTSCv2 = 08B0

 

#8-paste the ntsc raw codes in left panel (input)

 

#9-click on convert (bottom left)

 

#10-your ntsc armax converted codes will appear in right panel (output)

 

#11-manually input right panel converted codes in armax (like u usualy do with codes found on the forum)

 

note: use proper game version raw codes

it works !! i dont remember testing the biker code,,,but i do remember testing if it was possible to do so. my 1st test code turned UNUSED GANG 9 into a STRIPPER gang in "come-a-lot " and "camel toe " territory,s in las venturas...LOL !! it also modded their weapons for dildo,s and viberator's.

 

anyways...the test indeed worked,the new gang is there and reacts like a rival gang (rifa,da nang,triads,mafia and aztecas) would do.however,the popcycle codes mods are not savable so code needs to be on for them to be there.so if u save the code and restart a game without using it,you would find aztecas in the territory,s where GANG 9 was, cuz the density's lines used to implant GANG 9 are savable and the default popcyle setting for it is aztecas.

 

like i said above to "skills" i would need to go tru all my .txt files and clean them out...doing so id problably post some of my "testcodes". i picked the biker one cuz it was the 1st i found and i needed a example to show u what i meant.however,its not a finished code.

Yep using your idea I've changed my biker gang to use the first unused gang and used the second unsed gang to make a Village People YMCA gang in Queens, SF.

works perfect it gives the biker gang 3 areas and grove st. members wil be in these areas as well, also there's a biker stripper down with da gang, they act like the ballas and vagos gang: starting gun fights with cj and grove st. icon14.gif

(don't waste your time with this anyway, i don't care 4 this code that much)

Ah.

 

Well I can convert any codes you like into AR Max NTSC, so if you use the codes on skiller's page to create the code you want, then post it here I can convert it.

 

The problem is I havn't looked into how to port codes from San Andreas v1 into v2. And I think you play v2?

Yeah if you find the 3 girl peds you want on that list, and paste the 3 little numbers/letters for each of them here, i'll show you what to do next.

 

Sometimes it isn't obvious from the description what the pedestrians are, so If you're not sure, just pick the peds you want from here and Show me their pics.

you can't use the numbers from the photos in the code as they are taken from the PC, but the order and models are the same.

 

But if you do pick a number from the photos then I can easily work out what the number would be for PS2.

Usually you only get about 2-3 diferent ped models spawning, sometimes less, sometimes more, up to about 6. So if you definitly want to see your top 3 all the time I'd use the second code.

They are for version 1 of the game (don't remember if I said that yet)

 

When you first load in, the first members of your gang to load are often the original gsf members, but after that all the others that will spawn will be the new ped models.

oh...true,i forgot about this.i did use the gangs POPCYCLE codes to add girls to the gangs...i picked them for their clothes colors to match the gang color or street wear and added them in a 1/4 ratio.in the biker case the "cop stripper girl" was just perfect.

Yep using your idea I've changed my biker gang to use the first unused gang and used the second unsed gang to make a Village People YMCA gang in Queens, SF.

Don't put the same ped model into one base code more than once, and use "7D0" for the rest of the "???" once you have all the ped models you want.

 

this: "Don't put the same ped model into one base code more than once"...well its not working like that,you can put as many same models as u want,see each line is linked to a respawn point for peds (if i understand this right) in called zone...if you fill all the line with groove st.models you would get lots of gangmembers around their territory's.they are set in streets,cars and triggered gang-war.u could do a testcodes and set a differant ped models for each line (easy to spot ones) then go walk in a groove territory u'll see where each line points to.

 

 

 

The problem is I havn't looked into how to port codes from San Andreas v1 into v2.

 

this is the hard part..you'll need savedumps for both versions and compare default values to find the right adress (using a hex disassembler like ps2dis)...

( see my link to skiller popcycle codes in 1st post instead of going on his site...there they are listed with game default settings ) also if u want to set the digits in logical order ( not needed...but some beleive it loads faster like that) it goes backward like this:

screen when u hear the spray paint can sound just b 4 the R* logo.

i tried a few times on different memory cards just 2 be sure.

the 2nd code crashes wnen u enter grove st. controlled turf. i tested da code

few times, test 2: i press select then killed cj and grove st. members changed

into 1 of the ped. but the game crashed a minute later, i tried this way a few times

the same thing happen, i used different memory cards, on saves that had the da

glitch codes saved and on saves without the glitch codes, the game still crashes cryani.gif

i looked at thoses codes...they are ok ! in theory they should work,however this happend to me a couple times...here's why:

 

-some ped model(s) u used cause the game to crash...see some peds would not fit to be a gang member cuz its own programing is supposed to do something else at same time...ex: if u pick a drug dealer to be a gang member the game may crash when ull go near him cuz the game will try to make him sell drugs to you at same time he's attacking rival gangs.

 

-it could also be becuz u used another code at same time that isnt compatible with this one...when u test a code for 1st time,use the code alone to make sure nothing else is making it crash.

im pretty sure its one of the ped models u used in the code that makes the game crash...like i said it happend to me a couple times cuz i used a model incompatible with gangmembers

 

and..yes, like u said the code is the same.so only the models used can do this.

ah, so can da codes be re done with ped that can be used as gang members,

but with ped that are different from other ped used in other codes. of course when u playas have the time. or is there a way to give pedestriads gang turf like da biker gang, u know a little something, something wink.gif
