I think it was a nice little thing to have, and would like it if offline multiplayer was in GTA4. Have you even read the latest previews about the multiplayer modes? R* have put A LOT of effort into the MP modes. One of the reasons the game delayed was because they wanted the MP to be on par with the single player game. thats why the game delayed. there was prolly minor (if any) multiplayer in the game prior to the delay. of course there's gonna be alot of work put into it though. anything rockstar do, they do well. but i'm sure they themselves don't think it's necessary, it's really a single player game. but because the gaming public have this "without multiplayer the game is sh*t" attitude. then of course they added it. people nowadays think if u don't play a game with a million other people, then the game is practically unplayable. single player games barely exist. During a magazine preview, Houser was boasting on how awsome his multiplayer was, like with comments of "Who's not going to want to play that!?" and "Isn't that f*ckin awsome!?" (like crossover connection on PC) not on 1 screen splitted... its really gay, cause if you play against each other, your opponent see everything what youre doing... Everytime I hear it I feel like killing some kittens BTW, the 360 can do pretty much everything the PS3 can do, minus Blu-ray and Internet browsing. My one buddy has an Xbox 360 and I would love to destroy him, but I have the PS3. Oh well, if not I can always play against a couple cousins.
