The Greatest Moment of San Andreas

I actually felt really good when, after Green Sabre, i looked at the map to see me in Angel Pine, right next to Mt. Chiliad.

I was so happy then, more so than when i went to LV.

This was because i had heard so much about biking off the side if Chili and parachuting to the ground icon14.gif

Riding along in the Desert for the first time and coming across the Worlds Biggest Cock!

Sheer magic.

I remember when I was on the gant bridge, pulled my car over on the side of the road, and 4 some reason, a massive pileup occurred. I quickly grabbed a jet pack and flew above the whole scene to watch all the cars blow up one by one. Better than the All cars blow up cheat sly.gifsly.gifsly.gif

When I was driving into San Fierro with the Truth for the first time, via freeway.

"There's San Fierro, the city of psychedelic wonders."

And that still rings true for me. It was such a beautiful moment when you just see the skyline in the distance, glowing against the foggy night sky.

When you and Sweet go for the big fight against the Ballas, and then, after multiple betrayals, you end up in Angel Pine. It was as though the game had ended and started over again.

In that one mission in the beginning when you, smoke, sweet, and ryder all break into the Jefferson Motel and fight the Ballas, and then escape, and during the escape, it cuts to a scene where you see the car you're driving careen off the edge of the neighborhood, through a billboard sign, and fall about a hundred feet into the roaring highway, to collide head-first with an oil tanker and explode. Then, the camera moves up to the hole in the billboard sign, through which CJ and his homies are sticking their heads through to observe the destruction below, apparently having bailed out of the car seconds before it had crashed off of the edge of the cliff. It was amazing!

Reading all of this and the rest of the forum and knowing that I have only just started playing this game so yet to experience all of this.

Also the fact that GTA SA is completely playable on my UMPC so I can take it with me on trips and play anywhere and at any time.

The missions "Pier 69" where you kill Ryder. It brings back lots of memories from when I first played SA in 2004. More than killing Big Smoke.

It is my worst memory ever, killing Ryder was worse than killing any other character in the GTA history.

My worst too, he was one of my favorite characters in the game!

Even though it may seem a little weird, I think that the greatest moment in San Andreas is when you find out that Big Smoke and Ryder have sold out the Orange Grove Families. Without that happening, CJ would probably ended up being killed, and would have remained in Los Santos. Because of that, CJ went back to the bottom, and had to work his way back up, and on the way ended up owning a casino, having a lot of girls, earning a lot of money and earning a lot of respect.

My best SAN ANDREAS moment is when i opened the box and turned the game on. I just sat back and let the 90's gangsta setting sink in. I mean come on...this is my favorite genre of music (hip hop/rap). Playing as CJ with his friends reminded me of Boyz in Da Hood. I mean Ryder is a dead-on Eazy-E look-a-like. The Soundtrack is amazing. (Radio Los Santos ftw). I just love GTA: SA

I loved the moment when you are having a party on Grove Street, and then a Grove family member comes on his bike down the road to say Ballas are on there way, ahh i loved that. colgate.gif

I was so damn sad that we had to leave LS and travel all around SA, but when we got back to LS and killed Tenpenny, what moment could have been better than this biggrin.gif

I was amazed at the cinematic quality of the cutscenes and the at story. My greatest moment had to be when Sweet and CJ got surrounded by cops then Sweet got arrested

  • 4 weeks later...

I'll never forget the first time I got it. I got it last October. A few days before Halloween. It came in the mail since I bought it off ebay (ten bucks, pretty good deal). I was so excited when I got home. It was a friday so no homework, so I could play all night. I turned on the system and saw the magic loading screen, flashing pictures of the characters. I watched the cut scenes and started playing. The cops dumped me in "Rolling Heights, Balla Country" I hopped on the red bicycle and peddled to the CJ blip. I was so excited about the game I couldn't even focus. Suddenly I ran over a guy in a blue jean jacket and a bandana. No big deal, the cops didn't see me. The guy's gang whips out a uzi and starts shooting. I got so scared, peddled faster and barely made it.

The experience of playing that game for the first time is like non other than before. biggrin.gif

My favourite part was on the day of the PC release. In the car on the way home, I opened up the box, unravelled the map and was like "HOLY..."

I also like it when CJ makes cracks at Wuzi's blind-ness.

Just a few hours ago I was taking over LS again, pre-End Of The Line, when I was getting pinned down by Ballas at Idlewood. I tossed my last grenade, which landed on a Greenwood. The grenade went off, killing all the Ballas and blowing the Greenwood up, when the hood of the car landed on CJ, knocking him down, as the words "This hood is now yours!" (or something to that effect) popped up.

I laughed my ass off sigh.gif

Omnia sunt Communia

One of the most memorable moments in San Andreas, for me, was discovering the enhanced physics engine via hitting a rock on my BMX and flying (very fast) into the ground and dying. Took my breath away (as well as CJ's).
