The Greatest Moment of San Andreas

Seeing how fast I could drive around the most outside roads in a Buffalo with my own handling line on, listening to the user track player, with the cam hack on to turn off that bastard speed blur thing.

Just over 20 mins, but my handling line has been improved a lot recently, and I know the map better so I won't get lost, so I'll have another try first.

Driving with one hand. As in, i was eating dinner with one hand, and playing the game with one hand on the controller. It's really hard but i managed it. It felt pretty awesome since it's designed for 2 hands. Try it, its fun. And you get to eat at the same time lol.

I have more worsts than good times.

Worsts including yesterday when i was playing on my oldest save game that i've had for so long. Almost had 100% and almost done everything. I'd finished the game but for months had been going on with the game, i saved over it with a new game. I was really pissed. There's much more but that has to be one of the worst...

I was playing with a bunch of my friends and we were driving around Prickle Pine or the docks in San Fierro(we still debate where), and we almost hit some Asian dude, next thing we know, he yelled "Rub My Cock", or something like that, 2 years later, we still say it.

That and probably the first week I had the game, staying up late watching TV on one television, and then riding around Los Santos on my other one.

My two favourites are the one where you play cards with Woozie, that cracked me up so bad. The other one was playing multiplayer, and using NRG's to land on heli's. Fun times.

Completing the game 100%. After more than 3 years of literally restarting the game, looking around, and memorising every detail of the game, I finally completed it in December.

my greatest moment was the massive open ended freedom i found when i first played san andreas, i remember for hours on end just driving around aimlessly, taking in all the sights of los santos....

same here. i have yet to even complete a quarter of the missions in any gta game.

i just find it a great deal of fun to drive around and cause havoc tounge.gif

besides the fun factor, its also good stress relief. think about it. you get home from a stressful day or work (or school), plop down in front of your pc (or counsel) and start driving around, smashing up stuff, taking your anger and stress out on the pedestrians and npc vehicles.

When i 100%ed the game, after about 2 months of monotonous Tag-spraying and pimping, and i got the message "Congratulations. Game 100% complete. Rhino & Hydra delivered to CJ's house in Grove Street".

Bliss.

That's not bad.

It took me ages to do that 'Tanker commander' one.

I had great feeling by just having CJ running from the bottom of Mount Chillad, and way up to the top...near the place where "Chillad Challenge" can be triggered.

Actually I did this was to have CJ to tone down his fat, I feed him way too much haha that's why I had him sprinting

Nothing beats the feeling of completing the storyline, except 100% which i haven't experienced yet.

Im so close, somewhere in the 98%s. Probabaly finish this weekend icon14.gif

Chilling out looking for tags with Radio 5 on in the background (as in radio eternal to the game).

I did enjoy the moment i first stepped into a plane, knowing that all of SA was at my fingertips.

That, and when i finally got the game, 4 months ago. I had been waiting to play it for soooo long.

It was worth it.

When I first played it.. It looked so f*cking real, and it had the feeling of the cities being unique and new, and everything being so huge

when you play it alot , you memorize all the places, so there's nothing new to find out, and it gets boring over the time sad.gif

For some reason I love starting again and doing the first few missions; gets you really involved with the 'hood and stuff.

Also putting the full respect cheat in and cruising through Ballas 'hood with seven homies with RPGs. icon14.gif

The first time I actually did the game without cheatibg (well health cheat..) but the last mission on LS with the tanker flying threw the bilboard and the cop lands on the car.. Best part of the game, and memory for me.

Realizing that i know SA better than my own neighborhood.

Yeah, me too.

As for me, the ' less than perfect ' moment is when the game tells you that you completed the game 100%.

The Greatest Moment is... hmm I don't know, there's ALOT !!

First time i actually tried driving out of Los Santos into the countryside on a wayfarer motorcycle, and realized how huge this map was going to be (remember how tiny Vice City was). After that, the game kept getting better. I still think it beats GTA IV on many points but that's another subject...

Also i made a special save before a mission where Big Smoke orders loads of food at the drive thru, so i can watch the cut scene as often as i want. Makes me laugh every time.

When I won 8-track.

When I got past level 12 on Vigilante.

^-I really struggled with theese two.

But the greatest moment of them all was the beginning, when I discovered the freedom to do everything.

And when I found out how to lower the wanted level (lol), I no more had to swim out to the ocean when I got two stars...
