Basically the same thing as Word, but free. --- longkissgoodnight, please, please listen to what I have to say without just skimming over this and quoting me and arguing. Every post I've seen by you is an argument, or just a generic "this story is great I'll be following it" post. Hell, some times you don't even think before commenting: in a one-chapter story that was recently posted, you said "I'll be following this." It's as if you go into the topic, you see a story posted by a respected member, and you think "oh I should comment on this to look good!" Encouraging a writer is good, but when commenting, you need to tell them what they can improve on. Is there anything you see wrong with the story? Spelling mistakes? Length? Noting anything like that is better than just saying "wow this story is great," because that's basically just an excuse for a free post. Like I mentioned previously, other than that, all you do is argue. You always have to find something wrong with someone else. Even when you're agreeing with someone you're just using them to slander the other person ("thanks man he just keeps attacking me"). I've seen you post things like that many times. Arguing isn't the way to solve everything, and blaming everything on the other person isn't either. Take responsibility for your actions. If you do something wrong, apologize, do whatever you can to make it right, etcetera. Don't just put the blame on someone else. Lastly, don't complain when you don't get your way. The world wasn't designed to be fair to everyone, and sometimes, you can't have what you want. So someone doesn't like you - just ignore them. Be the bigger man, and drop the argument. Hell, you argued with half of Writer's Discussion just because someone didn't thank you. Keep in mind that I didn't write this post to be mean. I'm trying to help you. Thinking back now, the only thing longkissgoodnight has ever said in most of our stories is simply: "Awesome!" I'm really doubting he actually reads what anyone writes around here, but is just looking for a free post and some respect. Although that is just an assumption. Longkissgoodnight, I realize you want to be the tough guy, you want to be respected, but this forum doesn't work that way. If you want respect in WD, then write, don't try to be the top ass and piss everyone else off. No one here is better than anyone else. So in the future, when you screw up, take responsibility for your sh*t, apologize, and move on. If you can't do that, I can guarantee you won't be here much longer. This is in no way meant to be taken offensively as well, just a warning for the future. K?
