UPDATED

k1x- translation:

When Gamepro got the controller to play the game by them self, something awesome happened. After the first stepps with Niko, some Guy ran them nearly over. He stumbled an fell over. A cop came running by with a weapon in his hand - apparently he persecuted that guy. The cop told the guy to stand up and after that, he brought him to his police car.

The guy didnt complain when he was brought to the car. This wasn't scripted. That is something that can happen everywhere in Liberty City.

- The controls on foot and in the car are similar to the previous games

- The tyres of the cars can squeak

- GTA IV has a auto aim function... and they say how you use it. I think everyone knows that already wink.gif

- If you shoot the tyre of a car, the car can lose control (thanks to the great car physics) and crash somewhere.

- Bellic will be spoken as Bellik

- There is a radio station called Beat 102.7. It is still unknown if you can put your own music in the game (I think R* stated you wont be able to do that)

Most of it is stuff we already know.. well, one thing is still interesting:

A truck loaden with trees lost one, and it crashed into a taxi.

And they also say, that the carcontrol is bad.. wtf?

Hey, your flag says you're German. Mind giving us a translation which doesn't look as though you're a Tourettes-syndrome patient who's also drunk?

After the first steps they ran almost a man on the pile.

Dicker black smoke can come out of cars, the pleasant spectacle to the effect "Lost Planet" recalls. The hair and the hands can burn.

That made me chuckle biggrin.gif

After four days of reading some of the BabelFish translations of that Spanish article, this translation almost seems like clear English...

but not quite. biggrin.gif

As for the speculation about importing your own music, is there any need? On the 360 you can access your own music from HD, MemPen or PC via the dashboard anyway.

- Die Autosteuerung soll schlecht sein.

"Schlecht" is 'bad', 'difficult' or harder. 'Soll' can be 'target' either as a literal target you aim at or a target to compare a previous performance to. So I don't think they're saying the car control is bad, rather that car control is harder than before or that the IN CAR AIMING is harder than before.

He's refering to the fact that the translation in the main post makes very little sense and requires a bit of work to figure out what it's saying. And what the hell does being a brit have to do with it?

any ideas on what the music on the new radio station will be? im thinking itll be along the lines of dance music coz of the name

Seems kind of weird for them to say straight out in a preview that the car controls are bad.

Unfortunately, I remember reading in another American preview that the car controls were somewhat slippery. This isn't very reassuring

Symbiote's right, Finn. The guy who pointed out Niko was spelt wrong had a German flag, therefore I presumed he was German. The article is in German, and the translation the original poster posted is rather incomprehensible. Thus, I was asking the presumably-German person if he could provide a better translation seeing as he presumably spoke both German and English. Is that too hard for you to understand, Finn?

I can be patronising towards your nationality too.

Oh, and thanks for the translation k1x-.

This was translated by Google then edited by a retard.

Did YOU edit it?

Just beacuse somebody's first language isn't English does not make them a retard, in fact in Germany not many people speak a word of English due to everything being dubbed, so they can't even pick it up from TV!

Now how about you translate what I said into perfect German???

Prick.
