Figured I'd get right around there though. Anyone understand the "Jim (or whatever his name is) likes 100, but not 99. He likes XXX but not XXX, he also likes 3600 but not 3700. mike39 Posted March 15, 2008 Share Posted March 15, 2008 IQ tests aren't meant to gauge knowledge on any level, so that 'knowledge database' is what it says for some of the descriptions or whatever they are, is pretty ridiculous. Knowing that a grape is pitless has nothing to do with your ability to learn. It also looks like the ceiling on this test is 144 - I can't imagine which one I got wrong but I guess I did. Regardless, most IQ tests have a ceiling of around 180-200. Where are the questions meant to test those who are truly gifted? Anyway, here's 142. Those who are not native speakers of English should try taking the test on IQtest.dk - solving the questions depends on your logical abilities only. @mike39: They're mostly for fun, that's why. An IQ test is made so most people will have an average of around 100 and most people on here of done at least around 115 up to 140. Plus, I suspect I'd do much worse in reality... But the facts speak for themselves, I'm nothing special beyond my one real talent at life. Plus, I'm almost innumerate and could barely do any of the numeracy questions on there. Sure, we'd all love to be a genius but things don't always work out that way, sometimes people are born without a leg to stand on. Stupid, physically unattractive or given a stupid name at birth (All three apply to me I'm afraid). But those are the breaks sometimes, we just have to sit back, watch people brag and succeed whilst we waste away our pointless lives in demeaning job after demeaning job. Hah. I took that one, no joke I got around 130. I guesses the last 3 or 4 because it got boring doing the patterns. Mensa level is at 140, so I'm ecstatic.
