Ediblez
will GTA's new multiplayer effect the single player?? so what im trying to say is will all the new great multiplayer features that GTA IV is giving us have a impact on you to the point were its preventing you to enjoy the single player aspect of it?? for example ( and this is a bad one but) when i bought Twoworlds till this day ive never even touched the singleplayer( think of all the things i could be missing : P) spending all this time on multiplayer and pretty much forgetting about single... happens to games all the time what do you think? i never even botherd to search for this on topics so lock away if its already been brought up
mac915
Nope. Dislike the online gaming community as a whole. I know there are some cool people, but the majority(or at least the loudest) are either 14 year old a-holes with too much time on their hands and anger issues or people who take themselves too seriously. Hearing about the multiplayer has piqued my interest, but for the most part, I'll probably ignore it. Edited March 14, 2008 by mac915
nlitement
I will rarely play it unless it's with my friend. We totally loved chilling around in SA-MP. f*ck, one of the greatest gaming moments of my life.

Xboxless
It won't for me, when I first got Halo 3 I told myself I wouldn't touch the mp until most of the way through the campaign, with gta4 I will probably do the same thing. Do some missions play a little bit of mp and some more missions and over and over again. So it won't effect me but for some people it will. So it is not a guestion of will it ruin singleplayer but, can YOU resist playing too much mp and do sp OR, vice versa. That last little bit was for Mac915. Coons2k4
I can definitely see where you coming from, being that the multiplayer is gonna be so kick-ass, however, I dont think it'll take away from the fact that you can do whatever YOU want in single player. In my opinion, its a good problem to have. As opposed to not having as many options..... I do have one question though: I noticed they said that the MP map will be the same size as the single player experience, but does that mean that it will be a little different, because they never said it will be the SAME map. I really hope that its the same exact map, and not some tweaked one. We'll have to wait and see i guess. In any event I'm finding it completely unbearable waiting for this f*cking game. All these lucious MP details sure dont make waiting for the game any easier.
