sronsr
well my question is, how does it work, if EA buys T2(includes R*) will R* create the games under their ideas, the way they do now, or will the game president(or whoever) from EA tell them what to do and they'll just have to do it? i mean if R* will work the way they do now just under the EA "empire" there wont be a huge different in the franchise except that it will be an EA game but the game itself will stay the same, right? its not like EA will change the game, the R* team will just have to work for EA without EA disturbing them, right? Nikoforpresident
i think EA will just leave R* alone, if anything EA will push them to finish the game early so u might see more bugs in the next GTA but they can be fixed with a patch. so i wouldn't worry too much about it. The only reason EA wants to buy Take 2 is so they can control all Sports Games.

The sports games is a huge factor why i don't want this to happen (2k sports) EA needs competetion or else they will slack off and do a sh*t job (example Madden) NHL08 is a better game because of NHL2k8. Im not too worried about the effect on GTA but sports games, this really has me worried
Vovopok
EA would make them rehash GTA games over and over, without the slightest hint of innovation <- Worst case scenario. Edited March 14, 2008 by Vovopok
