Off-topic, I just got the new GI - naturally I was aware of most of that stuff because you guys keep me informed of all that good stuff so it was a bore. I did see one little tidbit that saddened me, as I am a 360 owner. Why did Microsoft, at the GDC as they were about to show off a demo to some game, experience the red ring of death? To me, that is the equivalent of someone sh*tting in your lunch and you eating it not knowing it has been done. Just humiliating!!!! I cannot recall that EVER happening to Sony or Nintendo at any previous GDC, do you? I'm seriously considering getting a back up box just in case... A whole debate followed regarding the old way of hovering items to be picked up and how would we know if that was the way they were gonna do it etc etc I believe it'll be intuitive, but not distracting. In that screen, I'm guessing his best bet would be to cap the guy with the AR first (more bullets, closer, def more dangerous than the other dude with the pistol), roadie run, roll, take cover and cap the other guy. I swear those guys at R*, I'm gonna have to be more observant of the in-game world. I see stuff now that I didn't catch when I was playin it...but that's probably why. You can also see how much more effort has been put in to the modelling work of the Brucie's muscles compared to those muddy textures that can be seen in the SA picture. 18. I think that the main difference between these two is that the GTA4 screenshot just nails the feel of a high-speed chase so much better than the SA one does. The graphical differences between these two games is amazing...til I happened upon this site I really had no quarrel with GTA graphics as I took it as part and parcel with the game you know?
