Rusty007
So I was reading the chain game thing for GTA:SA and reading through its forum topic Here and had a question for those of you that play it a lot. After I saw that it was modified and had some cool new features I want to play it solo from the start…as I saw it said you could do, and the only thing I’m unsure of is beside the save file (I’d need v2) is there anything else I would need to install to get it to work properly or is that all I need? I read through all rules and everything else but I’m still confused about what is need to play it. Any help here would be great . PS sorry if this in wrong area I was unsure what part of SA forums to put this, so I figured this good spot .
Ryan
You dont need to download anything. All the changes are made to the main.scm and the save file Just downlaod it and start playing. Thanks for taking interest in it.

Stefan.
Actually, make sure you have v2 before you start playing. The game uses v2 save files and runs on v2, not v1. Somewhere in the Mission Help section, you'll find something about converting into v1; by pdescobar. Hope we helped.
OrionSR
There are Independent Play version available in version 1 and version 2 for the Chain Game Saves - check the 1st page. Besides the version format difference, the Independent Play saves have the correct barriers for that specific version. The official Chain Game save uses a hybrid v2 format with v1 barriers and a mixture IPL objects so that it is most compatible with both versions. And if you want to complicate things a little, I've got an optional IPL file that adds a bunch of dynamic objects to the Bighouse Armories. It's got a small working gym, vending and pop machines, and a mini-casino. It's even got a pool table.
