What's so hard to understand about that? It is an official map...but not the final one they are using. It's more like an outline of the official map, all angles. It doesn't line up exactly. Also the map isn't show directly top down, but at a slight angle distorting the shape at the north ends of the islands. Although it is generally higher up of Algonquin than the real Roosevelt Island is to Manhattan(about centre), I guess we can assume this is what that bridge is all about. Look at the northern most bridge between Algonquin and Alderney. On the official site map they almost touch, on Jimmarn's map there is plenty of space between them. Also on Jimmarn's map Algonquin stays the same width from Midtown all the way to the top while on the official site map Algonquin gets narrower the further north you go.
