AI still not revolutionary

When GTV have each individual AI that have their own life, then it's going to be a game that revolutionize gaming. When each individual have their own job going to work 8-5 go home, open garage, park...or go to mall before go home or friend's houses...buy gasoline, walk in to movies...ect., all sort of dynamic AI, then it's possible to say the game is revolutionary and that you're actually living in a lively breathing world. But it's not happening because current console is not powerful enough to create each individual with their own life. If Rockster can do to physics with its own Euphorius, it should do the same with AIs. They should expand and change the way game is played. No more scripted AIs...i want dynamic AIs that does thing randomly unpredictably and have their own governed intelligent....just like Euphorius have their own unpredictable physics. Is it possible?? i dunno...never seen a game done it before because they never discovered such dynamic AIs.

GTAIV from what i seen...sure everything is upgraded...from scripted AIs to physics to graphics, but it still have folks wondering up and down the street without a life. Sure they walk up and down and looks like they're having a life, but i am sure if you follow them, they don't go back to their home or anywhere where they belong.

I think this will be the next biggest challenge for GTAV. If Rockster can do this, it will revolutionize gaming forever!!

That's not Euphorius.. it's called Euphoria..

Other than that.. what would be the point of following a pedestrian to his house? Just to let you know, you need to wait 2-5 more years for this to happen.. i mean, there is a limit of realism in games, and that's because even the PS3 is weak to represent the things what you've said in your post.

And this isn't an official information at all.

Rockstar doesn't own Euphoria, it's from Lucasarts, and it's not for Physics..

And this is not official news and/or info.

I thought it was from Natural Motion?

Oblivion gave their AI schedules to live by and it worked fairly well but GTA is a different type of game. With the technology we have available to us right now there is only so much you can do. Personally I would rather have what GTA offers then have a game where 8 million Liberty City residents have a schedule to keep. Perhaps the game you're looking for is The Sims or Oblivion.

I wont be too bothered if ped AI is the same as with SA, I think that would be satisfactory.

What i would be pissed is if combat AI is anywhere near as dumb as before. I really want enemies to have primary and secondary weapons that they switch between - be it as simple as finishing AK ammo and using their 9mm. I'm sure I saw that in GTA LCS in the mission where you fight Diablos with aiding Mafia. They all have Mac-10's but some occasionally whip out a shotgun. Exactly the same goes with the South-Side Hoods against the Forellis in Shoreside Vale - so it shouldn't be too hard to implement.

I also expect them to throw grenades or molotovs, and in later missions also switch between different weapons like SMG's and Assault rifles, depending on the situation.
