("Team Deathmatch", "Cops n' Crooks", "Deal Breaker", "Bomb da Base" and "Hangman's Noose") That is gonna be so bad. I don't know about you guys, but all i wanna do is meet up with a friend and just free- roam the city doing anything we want. Kinda like crackdown. I really hope that its not "Team Deathmatch" cause if it is i def will only be playing the single player, be dissapointed due to the dull multiplayer. Dont get me wrong I LOVE GTA but that "same screen free roam" in SA was like a little teaser, and im really wanting to just run around with my friends. Most likely it will be free roam with the option to play these games, select the game from your mobile phone, and you will have to go to the location to start the game... Maybe... I think what they have done is revealed SOME of the multiplayer modes, to tide us over until March 19. Don't shoot R* down just because "Social Freeroam" wasn't included as a multiplayer mode in this release. It'll be a part of multiplayer, as Sam Houser pretty much said it himself. All multiplayer, from what im reading, should be f*cking sweet, and its already sounding awesome without announcing all the modes! Posted March 14, 2008 Share Posted March 14, 2008 I think you shuld go into online mode, type in username password etc, then go onto the online part and you can go to a certain place to access the team deathmatch, hangman's noose, and all the other games while being online with your friends, so like, you can play the game together. You ask a player to join and you "magically" sync with the other persons 'world' and you both meet up to race together or something. Someone who actually played it confirm this, as I don't own a Xbox360 or PS3. Anyway, my point is, I believe multiplayer will be kind of like this: - Player 1 is playing solo. Decides to play MP. - Player 1 through his cellphone 'calls' or messages another player he knows (Xbox live? PS3 equivalent?) - Player 2 recieves the message and acknowledges. - Player 2 syncs with Player 1's "world" - They meet up and play any of the modes or just drive around town wreaking havoc! =P Maybe they might enable VoIP through the 'cellphone' or something like that... Anyway, just speculating. We'll soon hear the official word on Multiplayer. Team based MP on GTA is just lame imo and goes away from its roots. looks like ill be enjoying the single-player..what the game is supposed to be about. Team Deathmatch doesn't sound bad, but maybe they changed it to the point where it fits in to the GTA world. You can bring up the menu, select the multiplayer option, and you're online! Works great imo.
