Obliviongamer
Do you think the game will slow down in fps in any areas..? Games usually slow down when looking at lots of stuff on screen at once, ususally trees, I'm looking at you, Oblivion. I've heard the game has been clocked at 30fps at average.. From the previews, They said that the game only slightly lagged in Times Square, But then another previewer said that it did'nt drop no matter how many stuff he was blowing up at one time..? I'm confused So which is it..? Edited March 13, 2008 by Obliviongamer
maddgamer2
doubt it will if its a average id say its not going to get much lower im sure they have tested it very well. its rockstar- there brilliant
Azzerwazzer
well maybe by now they've figured out some visual tricks to keep this smooth when looking at epic stuff. a most of the recent previews said that the frame-rate never seemed to drop. it was slightly earlier previews that noticed slowdowns but it sounds pretty good now
tld
The PS3 shouldnt let you down AGAIN (reason delay) if any console will be lagging I wont need to guess which one. *cough*PS3 SIX BLOODY MONTHES THANKS TO THAT PIECE OF sh*te (non fanboy) just facts

Still if the 360 version released in October it would have been filled with glitches, slowdown etc. The 360 version also benefited from the delay. freestyle187
Obliviongamer, one topic on the main page at a time please. Especially when they are as convoluted and useless as they are. Secondly, how the f*ck should we know? You've got exactly the same access to information that we have, and we haven't played the game either. Also, I own the Xbox360 and am certainly partial to it over the PS3, but if either of the consoles were to lag, it'd be the 360. The PS3 has more hardware power, and that's basically not an arguable point. It's like trying to say that a $1000 dollar computer with an 8600GT is as powerful as a $1400 dollar computer with an 8800.
