deyessorc Posted March 13, 2008 Share Posted March 13, 2008 Hate (along with the reviewer who talked about this) how things are still "simulations" in that you create chaos, walk away, and come back to everything being normal again. I suppose this would take incredible memory to make this not be the case, however maybe things won't be this 'canned' feeling in the final product. Love, love, love the artwork in so many of the screens. I'm not a graphic-love as a priority type of gamer, however I love the "painted" look in the background. My dad has been a painter his whole life, so I like the artwork in this respect (gives the city character rather than the boring old "jaggy" look). As far as new stuff (graphics aren't a good answer), I am very excited to enjoy this engine and the physics system. SO many of the magazines contradicted themselves, even with 'from R*' info. I wouldn't be suprised if Sam Houser is f*cking with the journies, we won't have any idea what's going to happen until we pick up the game April 29th... I for one think that theres gonna be a lot more than we think there is, some things that we've been getting gibberish information on are great to increase hype and confuse us. At the moment, it's bad that there is (apparently) no customising, but I'm extremely happy with the new graphics, physics (animation) and car damage.
