GastonGlock Posted March 13, 2008 Share Posted March 13, 2008 You know april 29th when i introduce gta to my 360 and start my mad little libirty city "adventure" at the start other place`s on the map are blocked off by the feds my dillema is this, if i endulge in the game for a bit,say a good 12-14hr shift and still not accessed other parts of the city so i save it but then get the errg to load up the old xbox live where i might have a full roam of the map,you see i want to open them up the hard way as i go through the game then when i`v opened the hole map i`ll see wats hapnin on live!,i just don`t know if i can stop myself i think it will be "VERY" hard. My brother and I cruising around the entire city splitscreen, but now it's better different TV's! Now im just hoping the Peds AI are in the city, too. pariah87 Posted March 13, 2008 Share Posted March 13, 2008 I just want a cop and robbers type gametype.. where the Robbers start at the end of the mission and are sitting there going " WHERES THE f*ckING VAN??! IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HERE??! WHERES THE f*ckING VAN?!?!?" so then you have to steal a car.. but before this cops were dispatched and are on ur ass. Once you steal a car.. it's time to get the f*ck outta there.. those cops are packin, but luckily so are you, the cops have a heli on your ass so the other 4 players on the cop team kno where you are at all times.. they finally catch up to you and pursue to take you and your other 4 criminal buddies out.. While driving for a bit right before the 4 cops catch up to your ass.. you finally get in contact with your boss .. "PLAN B BOSS DRIVER DIDNT f*ckING SHOW... WHAT DO WE DO?!?" at this point your boss tells you a spot to get to where they can get you out and safe away from the cops.. and now its your Objective to get there and you win.. or if the cops stop you before you get to this marker.. then they win. Also when and if the criminals make it there, there would be a cutscene showing a quick getaway on boat perhaps, or helicoptor.. or a barrage of your men gunning every last police officer chasing you.. You have to take cover (behind cars, walls, etc.) and will make you think twice about getting out in the open. I heard in a magazine that a shot in the head means Death! I'm assuming that a couple of shots to the body, too. Hopefully! Yes, even though you think that will suck (4-5 shots=death), It won't. Probably because the Police's AI won't shoot randomly just to kill you. It will be like real life. Also, those gun shots heard from the 3rd trailer sounds f*cking amazing. Just like Real life. I bet the host invites up to 3 guests to experience his city any way they wish. If the host has not unlocked the other lands, the guests will have the same limits. Therefore it will be important to have a host with the full map accessible if you want full free-roam. Similar to how Crackdown handled achievements: if the guest kills one of the host's bosses, the host gets the achievement because it is HIS game. EDIT: I wonder if the host will be able to broadcast custom soundtracks to the guests on his server in multiplayer. McDodge34 Posted March 13, 2008 Share Posted March 13, 2008 I hope the freeroam mode (if present) will be monitored so we will have a real freeroam and not a place where we have to fight for our life because some stupid bastards teens try to kill everyone who joins the freeroam mode just to kill time and to annoy people who just want to hang around with friends. A trick that would be cool if there was no weapons allowed in free roam, only fist fights so if you wanna fight you can, but no cheating with heavy RPG or snipper to kill everyone on the map.
