jc steel
I dunno , it depends how good the multiplayer is. If its anything like 16 people randomly shootin at each other then ill stay away untill ive got my skill up. but if theres a few decent modes on it then the Story will haft to wait... JayD225
Im going to start with the storyline and once I unlock the whole map, I will begin the multiplayer. Im assuming we wont be able to play on all boroughs until we unlock them. I want to be able to play all the multiplayer games that GTA IV will bring on all boroughs . Coons2k4
I really hope that the multiplayer mode is a bit more dynaminc than merely a deathmatch of people running around shooting eachother. I mean, how deep can the combat system be for that? I think rockstar is gonna do something a little different, with like cops-n-robbers, etc.... What I am really looking forward to most is the fact that we'll be able to join with friends who are in a different location and roam the city or something to that effect. Simple deathmatch would get boring really quickly in my opinion. This game is not meant for stuff like that. Leave that to games like COD4 and Halo, who specialize in versus combat. GTA is all about the experience of being in another world and having the freedom to do what you please...only time will tell unfortunately. Hopefully they release some damn info about the multiplayer, seeing as it seems to be the most sought-after info on these boards imo. I know for me personally, I am more interested to hear about the multiplayer than any more in-game details and such. As a matter of fact, Id rather they dont release any more info except for the multiplayer aspects. Everything else i think at this point is spoiling the fun of finding out for yourself. A couple of months ago I just wanted info for the sake of finding out something new, but since we are so close to the release of the game, I can go the next 50 days or so without any new info if it means a better experience when I finally get the game in my hands... What do you guys think???

Well if you still haven't played the CoD4 SP, I realllllllllly recommend it, it is so awesome and gripping. Probably the most emotionally intense endings EVER!
