When I was in school I remember a lot more drinkers missing class in the morning because of hang overs. Stoners only missed class because they didn't finish burning in time and refused to run. That just says most drivers are capable of driving on pot. There is no reason to drive high besides the fact that its fun to look around at the scenery. I seriously doubt no matter how "safe" it is to drive high that it will ever be legal. Its legal to drive with a certain ammount of alcohol in your system but theres a limit. Its illegal to drive with any drugs in your system, there should at least be a leaneance for some weed in your system. Obviously I don't promote any DUI but if you can drive stoned... I'm in no way cheering the idiots that abuse ANY kind of drugs, especially the bad kinds, ethanol is a huge problem around the world, destroying many families, but does that mean the people that use the drug in a good way can't have it? No they can, and I think the same thing should be taken into consideration with most other drugs. I personally find it absolutely atrocious that something harmless like htc is banned when something like ethanol is not only allowed, but also greatly socially accepted, in some if not most ways htc does less harm than ethanol. Besides htc, mdma and some psychedelics including lsd, mescaline and magic-shroomz I haven't really tried anything else, generally I'm against most synthesized drugs, so trying lsd was kinda lot for me, but I'm glad I tried it anyway, great great great experience, but again it really have to be done with harm-reduction in mind, if you try to do something like a powerful psychedelic and expect to be able to rock your party and dance all night long on it bad stuff will happend, you really need to research those things before you do it. And for the love of god, NEVER, NEVER f*ckING EVER, take anything you bought from some shady drug dealer outside the late night club, you never know want kind of sh*t they mix up with what they give you. Why can't you do that with your own mind? You don't need drugs to reach weird mental states and thoughts. It's not going to be as profound as taking a drug, but it's still possible. I'm not anti-drug, but people that take drugs to get enlightened kind of annoy me because they might have been completely retarded before taking the drugs. Then they spew out good thoughts, but those good thoughts are just from the result of taking drugs, it's not as true, as someone who has never taken drugs and can reach those thoughts. Obviously have never tried mushrooms. I took some mushrooms in a dark room, by myself, with no sound . . . complete sensory depravation (except for any noise I would make). Anywho, during the trip I met some old man that taught me how to re-wire my car. After my trip ended I went out and re-wired my car. I thought it was kind of strange that I could learn something. Something that was already in my head, because I didn't know how to do that before I tripped. As for weed being a prohibition, it is more than that. It is being denied by big business.
