Mike0
QUOTE of Sam: I suggested that in San Andreas you should have to fill up with fuel. The team said:"God, give it a rest". How does that make you feel? Houser actually wanted it in, but the team didnt. No wonder we dont get many features inside. I guess they know what they're doing. Vanillainy
Good, how lame would it be to be in a huge police chase for you to run out of fuel in the middle of nowhere?

Blindfutur3
Dont think it'd be lame, would intensify the chase If they did ever implement a fuel system, they should make the cars have an over the top mpg so your not always filling up!

theInvisible Y
think about it.... your in a high speed chase... and your target runs out of gas right in front of you... perfect for a quick drive-by... or if your chased by the cops... and right as he's gonna fish-tail you... BOOM! his car stalls out... causing a wreck of cop cars behind him.... it would add a new effect in the game play.. and i wouldn't mind seeing it.. but it would be nice to have the option to have it on an off.. maybe as DLC later on? whatcha guys think?? Wattafax
I don't think gameplay enhancements would make for DLC. But the idea of fuel filling...I love it!
ryuclan
I really don't see what this would add. I barely keep a car long enough to have to refill anyway. Not because I'm a bad driver, but because I have a short attention span and always see better cars then the one I'm in lol.
dave1927p
i would very much like it if the peds would fill up their car but not if you (niko) had too also...that would not be a good thing.
chrisisking
You had to refill your fuel in Mafia, but it was very rare you had to, it was just a novelty thing and easier to just jack a new ride. I bet R* would do it better though if they did
Californian
The people that played the game said "We saw a ped fueling up his Semi." So that probably means peds will. I think they also mentioned Niko won't be able to. Although it will be a nice feature to add.
SovietWarrior42
Would of been a nice optional featue, like for a hardcore setting where bullets do more damage. A cool mission would be where you punture your target's gas tank so when he tries to get away, he's stuck there. I wish they would at least make a feature where you have to kill someone but make it look like an accident. You could cut the brake lines and watch them try to slam on the brakes while they go off a huge hill

scarface910
It would be totally boring in SA. In GTA IV there would be many options.
BoredGTAFan
Filling up your car with fuel dosen't sound that bad. If R* did it right, it could be a lot of fun. Anyways if it is true, that peds will fill up, then it will just add more realism to the game.
MysteryGamer
Well they have a point I mean it sounds cool to fill up cars with petrol (gas) but it could get annoying soon enough so it was/is the right choice I think to leave that out. Grand Theft Auto games aren't supposed to be all that realistic which makes the series so fun.
