BasicReality: Are you having your rig built or building it yourself? You can save several grand by doing it on your own. Last year I built a $4000 rig for just over $1000. I'm getting someone to build it for me, honestly I'm no tech guru at all, and I'm going to get liquid cooling, overclocking and all that jazz also so I'd rather pay alittle more and get someone pro to do it for me. Well I'm working, I'm saving up for a beast of a computer rig, I plan on spending 7 grand on it Dude....buy a car. Or donate the money to charity. DEAR GOD, $7000 on a f*cking computer?!?! Oh well, some people have to do their own things... I have no plans to buy a car, and here in Denmark where I live it really aint so simple. they're extremely expensive due to ludicrous taxes and the insuarences are through the roof. Also I'm too selfish to ever donate money to anything I could possibly imagine, seeing some starving little black girl on tv simply doesn't do it for me, if I were to donate money I'd have to make sure that the money goes to these poor beings, instead of the corrupted leaders handling the funds. And I suppose we all have our priorities, so I just figured I'd burn $7000 on a new PC Doesn't anyone do anything OUTSIDE anymore?! I hunt, but it's not season right now though.
