How to get bettter visual quality for 360

I have an older 360 w/out hdmi input. I just bought a 42'' Insignia plasma and I dont understand the difference between these two products. I just want a clean picture in 720p. Can anyone please help me?

Don't you have the RGB cables? They put out a similar quality to HDMI if I'm not wrong, and I've heard the VGA cable has some problems with older Xbox (Not 360) games. I haven't used either, but you would think a 1st party product would work better than a 3rd party product, No?

I think you'd better use component cable. I compared it with VGA and the colors with compent cable are more rich that with vga.

Your best bet is the component cables that come with the 360 premium. the madcatz cable is a waste, you could try the VGA cable, but likely won't see any difference from the component cable.

i noticed the differense on my 32" LCD - the colors with VGA were worse than with component cable. And my friend told me the same.
