I dont knwo whether to send it to MS and risk not having it in time for gta4 or leave it and hope it sorts its self out plus i dont know how id live with out my 360. also what would you do if you got in from the store with gta4 and got 3 red lights !!! player2 Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 i rekon you get on the phone and send it back to MS. i couldn't imagen the panic attack i would have if i got GTAIV home after smelling it (new game smell) for 30min on my way back to base to find out my XboX had $hit it's self. if i couldn't borrow a mates, witch i don't think i could (every one will be playing GTAIV) i think i would go back to the shops and buy a new Arcade XboX swap the hard drive over and try to calm down, then smell the game again then play with myself.... I just received, what is now my 5th console, from the repair center last week. So far MS sucks, I have dealt with them for 4 consoles, one of which they sent me was broken right out of the box. The most recent one I got is an old refurb that is a year older than the one I sent in and it is loud as hell. They really do not know how to take care of customers that have repeated problems. Realize though it is only a matter of time before your refurb breaks. I personally am buying another 360 from Best Buy so I can get their replacement plan and no longer deal with the MS customer support. Then sell the refurb you get back on eBay. You will lose some cash on the deal, but if you can afford it your life will be easier. The other option I am debating is just getting rid of the 360 and moving to PS3. You and I have something in common...I just recently got the 3 red lights and was freezing on me (this happened sunday) and then nothing until today. I dont know what to do with it. Thats why i said (i'll Cap and quote this for slow people like you) "JUST AFTER A MONTHS TIME PASSED" meaning not just 4 weeks, but more. Otherwise i would of said a month/4 weeks.
