Carmods Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 Im a little ticked off at rockstar right now because as a ps3 owner that hasnt seen really anything on GTA4 running on a ps3 im a little worried about what im to expect from it. i just think that us ps3 fans need some reassuring...i mean i just that this whole 'are they the same?' is being displayed a little one-sided man my ps3 just collects dust i dont even use it...you should def get aa 360...man i wish i could sell my ps3 its useless... You wish you could sell it? SELL IT THEN BELL-END! My guess is you don't actually have a PS3, you're just being a [email protected], trying to get us PS3 owners wound up. Bottom line is I know which controller I'd rather play it on. omg dude check my youtube i got iphone,ps3,360 even have a 08 charger...and my watch cost 3500 so dont kid ur self ahahahahah u kids these days romeoproductionz on youtube.... oh yea and im not white lol... dude i went to amsterdam last year fool im not broke... who cant buy a ps3 ur dumb dude if u think i dont have a ps3.. Yes the PS3 is using a higher AA sample but it is not as powerful... An IGN article was comparing the 360 and the PS3 in terms of: General CPU Performance, CPU Shader Operation per Second... The Xbox 360 won 6 against 1 in this comparison. PS3 only won the CPU Floating Point Performance. EA Sports' 2007 Sports game franchise, the PS3 was running most of the games on 30FPS while the 360 at 60FPS. But the PS3 wins in terms of Online Gameplay since it's free and the PS3 itself has less problems (Overheating...) You won't be able to watch movies in HD on your 360 anymore. You'll either need to get a Blu-ray player, upgrade your current 360 or buy a new one. Carmods Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 well srry for my slang..i didnt think you would be so techy but you got my point...im not 1 to save vids and all but do a goggle on what devs say about working on the ps3..you'll find it on blogs..not their website..im sure they dont wanna be black balled from ps3 with the cost it takes to make a next gen ggame..im sure they need all the platforms they can get..but its true cuz...i mean to be real with you im so pissed we had to wait for gta due to the ps3..if thats not enough proof..you def dont know how to read between the lines...why does 360 have a slew of better games then ps3?? name 3 things the ps3 has over 360 atm...like i said im not a fanboy..i switched to mac cause im not a fan of microsoft..but the proof is in the games...and omg ps3 can get really laggy online... if you think on it, gta made the ps2..imo....thats why i got a ps2 for gta... sad i got my ps3 right when it launched so i paid that 600 and for nothing... i had really high hopes for it...but as we all see 360 is killing it right now... Im def not a halo fan but 3 was the sh*t..and what did ps3 have when halo3 dropped?? Its a nice piece of hardware and Blu Ray movies are stunning, but consoles are about GAMES not MOVIES, and its obvious by the games that have been released so far that no developer is interested in using the Blu Ray to its full potential, prove me wrong. Plan on watching on HighDef movies? Blu-ray player How much does your online play cost? Now who got ripped off? Carmods Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 There are NO EXCLUSIVE GAMES WORTH BUYING ON THE PS3, and won't be until MGS4, I found this out the hard way now I'm out 4 hundred dollars. Lair SUCKED, Drakes Fortune SUCKED, Warhawk SUCKED, the ONLY game I found even remotely amusing was a game called Pain that I DL'ed from the PS Store for 5 dollars and even thats only fun for about 10 minutes. I mean c'mon, PS2 KICKED ASS, and now Sony's main next gen title at the moment is RATCHET AND CLANK !?!?! Serious !?!?! Wow thats sad. Its a nice piece of hardware and Blu Ray movies are stunning, but consoles are about GAMES not MOVIES, and its obvious by the games that have been released so far that no developer is interested in using the Blu Ray to its full potential, prove me wrong. No matter how much the fanboys want to convince themselves, the PS3 has NO GOOD GAMES, and this is coming from a guy who loves Sony, but theres a difference between supporting your fave console and just being completely blinded by fanboy-ism Drakes fortune sucked? That's a little steep. Also the ps3 is an entertainment system. Good games will come soon. awwww man that was a good laugh...you sound like a sony rep... But seriously, the ps3 is an entertainment system and good games will come very soon. Anyway, I'm happy with what I'm playing. I'm not really into stuff like Mass effect, gears of war etc. Not saying they're not good games, but the 360 doesn't suite me. I never considered getting one, I'm happy with the ps3. I agree with this guy. im done..time to go pick up my girl from work...have fun guys... I like they way you made me/us sound like losers just there when your the 20/30? something year old guy arguing with the 17 year old kid (whos stuck in bed) over which console is better Anyway, sorry about the flame war thing.
