Back in San Andreas, Carl used to have a lot of girlfriends who would let him keep his weapons if he was wasted and busted, give him cars and gifts, and some other favors for him.

 

I'm getting a sinking feeling that Niko won't have any of that. Something tells me he'll be like Tommy Vercetti again in that he'll not get his weapons back whenever he runs into enough trouble.

 

I've been gaming constantly since 1991 so I've probably developed "Gamer's ESP" by now.

 

Please prove me wrong and show me that Niko will have a girlfriend system like Carl's.

Since other characters, like Little Jacob and Brucie give you cheaper and better weapons and helicopter rides, how could they not put girlfriends to give you that stuff? Come on.

• Possibility 1: Will the fee be "per incident," so that every time he's at the hospital, the fee is fixed no matter whether he had 5 or 15 weapons on him?
• Possibility 2: Will the fee be "per weapon," so it costs (for example) $1000 for each weapon to return, no matter what the weapon is?
• Possibility 3: Or will the fee depend on how über that weapon is - so that (for example) it costs $100 to return a machete but $25,000 to return an M-16 or flamethrower?

• basic fee
• weapon free each

Would the feature from Vice City Stories return, with the same price of $2000?

 

Maybe this feature has been revised and refined, who knows. Likely so.

 

My two cents are that there is a fixed rate, and maybe the price is raised with the more money you earn through the game. I doubt it will be per weapon, but we could have a choice to buy back individual weapons, the entire cache, or the third option as earlier suggested by isshun.ga.
