*Notice the 4 raindrops sliding down the camera, towards the right.

Trailer 3: Move Up, Ladies. When Niko says "Don't be rediculous, you're being paranoid"

Just an observation. You guys think this will be incorporated into gameplay, or just a cutscene effect? I suppose if they put it in Vice City it would be no surprise the camera style raindrop effect returns, as it adds realism. No matter how annoying some of you might find it lol.

I liked it, gave it a sense of you actually playing in the game..

I actually think the camera raindroplets is a bad idea. It's a "neato" graphic effect but bad for the game; it draws attention to the magical disembodied camera that hovers near the action. Anything that draws attention to the camera is a bad idea IMO.

Does anybody think they will bring in a FP view as we know of a FP view for inside cars or whatever you call it

There will be a "dashboard" view of the car, just like how you would view it as if you were in a real car.

And you can clearly see water drops on the screen in the boat scene of the 3rd trailer.

ChillyPhilly

Then again, that could be droplets falling down a car windscreen.

Unlikely much, however. This brings up a thought though...if raindrops on the camera return, would blood spatters?

One of the latest screenshots on the gta4.net shows on of the character (can't remember) shooting out the car windows and it has blood droplets on the screen, much like VC.

They are making the camera more like what you see in the trailers. So you can have it cinematic like.

Maybe its only in cinematic mode to give it a movie cam feeling and normal gameplay camera will be like in SA with no droplets.

The raindrop effect on the camera is the best f*cking idea ever, I'm so glad it's back in.
