Mafioso86
So I was watching the LCPD recruitment video and the part where they arrested the grandmother was sticking out at me for some reason... she seemed familiar. Well I was then watching "Move Up Ladies" and I saw her again. In the last scene with the guy that says, "So are you in big guy, or we gunna have to kill ya?" look up on the wall... there is a picture of the same old woman and an old man. While you can't really see the man in the passenger seat of the first picture, the back of his head does look like the old man in the picture. With all that in mind I was thinking she (and her husband) could actually be characters in the game. Sure the joke is "Granny's a terrorist," but what if that scene is from the game and the cops are after them for a reason? Add to that my suspicion that the two guys at the end of "Move Up Ladies" are part of the Irish Mob (along with Packie).... and things all begin to come together... Here those two are again with Niko and Packie...

No Francis McReary.... The only named characters seen in these shots are Niko and Packie... The two guys from the end of move up ladies still have not been named... but they are seen again in the last pic with Niko and Packie. Then.... you have the elderly couple. Whether you want to think they are associated with Packie and friends or not... you can't deny that is a picture of the same woman.
YourNeighborhoodKiller
Maybe they'll have some kind of role in the game. An old lady.

Don't think so.... she looks different, but I could be wrong.... it could of course explain why granny's being carted off by the cops.... she's the Godmother or maybe an IRA mastermind... Edit~ It might just be the lack of the glasses that makes her look different here...
pariah87
Oh yea it kinda doesn't.. but if she had glasses she might, but then again a lot of old people look alike ahah.. maybe that grandma got busted for prostitution lmao.
Seachmall
Has an Irish Mob been confirmed or is it just a theory? It would rock because I'm Irish, a real Irish person at that. Not one of those 'I'm-Irish-because-my-great-grandfathers-cousin's-ex-wife's-brother's-friend-is-Irish' Irish-Americans!

Coons2k4
I think it just might be the certain model they are using for old women. Just like some of the other peds look the same, so do the two old ladies...
sidny
i hate it when they bring stupid characters into the game
CarpetDweller
My usual reaction to this would be to say you're over examing minor unimportant details. There were photos of normal ped models in the Johnson House in San Andreas. But for some reason I think you might be onto something. We know from comments on the Opie & Anthony show that an Irish Mob features in the game and I'm pretty sure a few articles have mentioned them too. We know that a few of the seen characters are related to the McReary family (at least Francis, Packie, Packie's mother and I think Packie's sister. I'm fairly confident that the "are we gonna have to kill ya?" guys are in the irish mob with Packie. So we could get to see quite a few members of this "family". It could be that the official boss is the old guy seen in the painting on the wall, while his wife (the old woman with glasses) is the one that really calls the shots. Of coure this could all be wild speculation with no basis in truth, but it's fun to try.
