Having your name on that list is a privilege. If it was removed, I wouldn't even notice. Besides, the people here who matter to me most know who I am. That's enough for me, really. Life isn't fair, and bitching about it isn't going to make it any better. If you want to be recognized in a topic thanking people who frequent Writer's Discussion, then try to give some constructive criticism, work on your stories and post progress on them, etcetera. I don't even remember when I last saw a story that was posted by you. And you can say the same about me, that's all fine and good, but I don't post my stories in a rush because I like to make sure they're as good as they can be. I don't take two minutes to just jot something down then post it on the forums. In short, if it's not a big deal - why are you complaining about it so much? One or two occasional posts in a few of the stories makes you one of the most respected people on this forum? The point of this forum is for writing, and the person who made this topic is thanking the people who write stories and/or give constructive criticism on stories. Saying "wow this story is great" every once in a while does not mean you deserve an award. And yes, a lot of the people who visit this forum deserve a chance. You had a chance, you were on the list. But you were taken off. Need I ask why you think the fact that you're not being thanked means the end of the world? No, I do not, since you'll just give me all your "IT'S NOT FAIR" bullsh*t. Edit: Here's your latest "story," if it can be called that. Hell, you didn't even ever post the story. You just argued with everyone and ignored countless posts trying to tell you to spell the word "know" correctly. Hell, you still misspell it. If people want to make themselves known in this world (or in this Forum) they need to do the work. They can't just expect to have everything done for them, and expect everyone to treat them like the Queen. Life isn't fair; everyone knows it. If you expect everything to be right and just, especially on a Forum, then bad luck. Put up with it. This is a Forum for Writer's expressing their interest through writing, and when someone gives you advice and critisism, you take it! Why ignore them, even though you know sub-consciencely that they are right and you are wrong. To summarise what I mean, quite bitching and moaning to get what you want, because that's not the way to get it. If you wanna be on that list (which I find incredibly trivial and pointless) then you go out there and write good stories! He even said himself that he put people on the list due to their writing abilities. OK, now you're on the list, but everyone knows that you're only on because you were bitching and complaining about not being on the list.
