Kryten.
As much as I do like the green colour I think the dark green and gold (as opposed to lighter green and yellow) looks better.
Brown Sugar
god damn that sauber loooks nice, I hope they do well this season as they had a good end to last season http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2011/1/11685.html
Mark
Renault apparently have an innovative exhaust system due to be shown during the first test. Exhausts are apparently re-routed from the standard exit position, under the radiators and blown into the floor near the sidepods. Launch photos of the car today show no exhaust on the R31 at all, fuelling speculation. Tomorrow will be interesting.
Brown Sugar
Is there any way we can watch the tesiting, on the bbc website or anything?
Mark
Not afaik. I'll probably just keep up with it on the Autosport forums. I'll leave the others to watch the timing screens.

Brown Sugar
I can only imagine that whoever designed the enw mclaren cra thought it's design would be exceptional in performance terms, that thing is just ugly.
TheScorpion
Personally I think the car is bloody gorgeous, has nothing on the MP4-20 (McLaren's '05 machine) in terms of attractiveness, though. Apparently McLaren haven't shown us everything on the car yet either, most notably a different exhaust system, they have 2 different systems built and two in production, Martin Whitmarsh has warned us. Can't wait for this season now.
Bernard Jazz
The arse end of the new McLaren is beautiful, rest of the car isn't too bad. Also, Kubica could miss the start of the season after fracturing his left arm and left leg. Sauce. *edit* Now it's suddenly become his right arm, hand and leg. *double edit* His right hand has been partially severed.. f*ck. It's likely Senna will be driving this year for Renault. 3niX
Well... f*ck! They might have to amputate Kubicas arm. He is one of my favorite drivers of the bunch. It will be a real shame if he wont be able to be on the grid. EDIT: No amputation luckily... but he is going to be away for a year. Mark
I have a feeling teams will stop such acts from now on. No more rallying for Kubica, no more bike racing for Webber etc. In the case of Kubica, maybe we'll see him follow Kimi in the future.
Jay
I was channel surfing and for filler in between shows, channel ONE had this absolutely awesome montage of season 2010. It had a 'good, bad, ugly' feel, and mixed on-track footage with the type of pitlane and paddock film that you don't normally see. Spent a lot of time showing clips from Monaco, with celebrities, bitties and pool diving. And the way Abu Dhabi was relived was excellent. Made me remember just how good a season it was. The cherry on top was Alonso and Ferraro not winning anything.
Grand Theft Auto Dude
The full 2011 grid: Favourite looking car of the bunch is the Mercedes, it looks much better without the ugly black blotches. Does anyone here miss the shark fins of last year? There seems to be a lot of hate towards them, but I've always thought they looked very nice, especially on the McLaren. Now they can't be within a certain distance of the rear wing, and only Red Bull and HRT have stuck with them, Red Bull seemingly just to have enough space for the bull. I wish Williams could just stick with their interim livery.
Jay
You're kidding me with that Renault design. Can't believe they went with the red logos on their livery. Ugly sh*t. Hate to say it but the Ferraro is the prettiest out of the bunch.
Brown Sugar
I think the sauber is the best looking and the lotus is nice too. I'd also like to see heidfeld or raikkonen replace kubica at renault as it seems that he will be out for most of the season if not all of it. Hopefully he gets better soon though and is back to his best in no time as i like him a lot as a driver and want to see him do well.
3niX
Well... Heidfeld is going to participate a four day test with Lotus Renault GP. Its quite likely that he will replace Kubica. Itd be nice to see him back behind the wheel.

Brown Sugar
Cant wait for Australia its getting ever so close, just a shame that it should start next week, but hey i guess i can wait another two weeks. yeah, the australian gp should be good, I like having it as the opening race better, the only thing I don't like is having to get up early to watch it. But if it's as good as the last 2 or 3 australian gp's have been then it should be worth it.
Brown Sugar
sorry for double post but I'm really excited for Friday, It seems like the new tyre's will make the races more interesting due to the fact they wear out quicker. I'm also looking forward to seeing if mclaren will be at the same pace as the red bull's and ferraris, I hope they do well this season.
AnotherDave
I'm also looking forward to seeing if mclaren will be at the same pace as the red bull's and ferraris, I hope they do well this season. Same. McLaren need to be more consistent than last year, both with the cars and the drivers. I can see Button getting on well with the Pirellis as he's always been pretty gentle on his tyres. In more general terms, it'll be interesting to see the what difference Kers and the slightly slower, less grippy cars makes. Should be a good weekend. Bernard Jazz
Qualifying was pretty much a repeat of what we got in last years races, Red Bull dominating (1st and 3rd) with McLaren biting at their heels (2nd and 4th) and Ferrari being incredibly random (5th and 8th). Can't wait to see which cars will be kinder on the tires during a full race, hopefully it will mix things up a bit. Also the two Hispania cars won't be taking part since they failed to complete a time within 107% of the fastest lap.
Jay
Hoping to post my first bold, italic, allcaps bastardisation of Mark Webber's name of the year tomorrow afternoon. Checkit.
Redketman
Sebastian Vettel really dominated today. It looks like he will be the Qualifying-master this year too. Vettel will probably win tomorrow unless he gets mechanical problems or something like that. It looks like Mercedes is team number 4 once again.. and they were way behind the Red Bulls for example. Not good. Hopefully they will improve. Vitaly Petrov did well today. The Ferraris weren't fast at all.
Brown Sugar
I'd say this one is between hamilton and vettel and you have to admit that these pirelli tyres are pretty crap, but in a good way, they should make the races more interesting. A few spin outs from freezing cold tyres is just what we need.
Jay
Actually seeing Sutil spin out when he adjusted his wing too early was lolsworthy and hopefully that sh*t happens a lot this season.
Der_Don
Great race from Vettel. Congrats to him. And Petrov to be the first Russian driver ever who is among the top 3. Congrats to him, too.
