Hey this game looks interesting to me, But I am confused on how to get started. I know I D/L the latest save do a mission (Or three I guess if it's been 6 hours or something?) But how would I get started on this?

Thanks for your interest in the chain game & welcome to the gtaforums!

You can find out almost everything about the chain game <in the first post of this topic>.

 

The game is a Version 2 game, if you have Version 1 you can find out how to play in that first post.

 

There's a guide for beginners above the Rules & Guidelines.

Here's some of the basics:

Call a turn. You have three hours to finish.

Download the last save.

Do only one mission or up to 3 races if you don't do a 'named' mission.

You can do a 'named' mission & 1 race if you want.

Do not get busted, wasted, use cheats or a trainer.

When finished just post your completed save using the posting format - you can copy from one of the other turns if you want.

There's only 'Farewell my love' of those left to do & they count as missions & though available from the beginning (at the checkered flag icon due to the save modification), we ask that they aren't done until they come up in the storyline. Once they are done, anyone can re-do them to get a better time if they want.

 

Currently 'Farewell my love' is the only mission available & we ask that the player start it at The Panopticon (where the CV icon is) & not from one of the checkered flag icon starting points.

 

Edit:

You can still call a turn & do side missions like the Photos in San Fierro, Taxi, Hippy Shopper, Boat School & Bike school - just to name a few. Note that some of the side missions can be done in the closed off areas with a 4-star wanted level, Bike School would be one of those.
