It was 'confirmed' in a preview. There's no real reason to go underwater either, although it would be a good feature of course.

 

 

I just hope Niko can't drown from swimming too much....

going under water is not realistic because the earth is flat so you can only swim on the surface

Lol. I don't see a real reason to go underwater anyway. For me, I never swam in San Andreas, but was just happy you didnt die if you drove into the water or fell in on accident.

Only reasons to go underwater in SA was to look for clams and that was pretty much it. Oh yeah and here was this one mission where you had to hide from them.

 

I thought that would work running from the police but they somehow find a way to spot and kill you.
