It's a shame I get the "gta_sa.exe has stopped working" error as soon as I start GTA SA again.

 

Can a bad config cause this?

Try to check your ini setting and check all you Main GTA Folder Files, maybe problem is somewhere there...

Thanks, my settings are close to default, i think the reflections are a bit too strong, hence the dots.

I took those shots with all maxed out, ofocurse my fps is close to non-existent having a 5 year old vid card (Radeon 9600) but its fun.

Bumster: it didnt work ? Try to delete (remove) all files of ENB mod from GTA main folder, and try to load the game, and after that !download! From the website 0.075 and try to install again.

Reinstal. Only way. Cleo3 can mess up your gta big time.

bummie, bad news. You gotta re-install sa and then run this...some file have been deleted or replaced, have you installed gostown or any other mod before with THIS copy , if yes then you must've deleted gta_int file. if no, still you gotta re-install. AND, what video card are you using?

LOOK, I HAVEN'T DELETED OR REPLACED ANYTHING AND I INSTALL TOTAL CONVERSIONS ON A COPIED FOLDER.

 

GTA SA works fine when I remove ENBseries so it's obviously something to do with a compatibility problem and I'm using a GeForce 7600 GT. Reinstalling isn't the answer to every problem and mainly it's a waste of time. If you want I can record what I do and what happens.

I would say try one for 2600xt which is similar in speed, don't know what Boris would recommend though

Bumster: I agree with you, that reinstall of SA is not the solve of problem, but, if you have enough space on your HDD, you can install SA in another place, and try new installed SA with ENb. Maybe works...

we can't lil' Q, when we start setup the uninstallation comes up, and bumster don't shout. My computer is fast and re-installing on my comp take 40 secs exactly..

I found out it was the config you provided that caused the problem.

 

The default .ini doesn't make it crash.

I tried on my 6600 and it worked well, but still low FPS. OK, I have to go to sleep , Have an axcam tomorow.

And if you want to install SA 2 times, you can (maybe) put your SA folder (full SA) on desktop, and try to open the install, with some games it works.
