Don't know.. Copying over my default GTA:SA installation now, and will test it on that, and see what difference it makes..

 

I've installed the DX10 mod to a blank folder; and it seems to have some different shaders, a timecyc, an effects, vehicle, particle files (and some other branding files; load screens etc)

Tried that DX10 mod; its just a rapped up exe; when SA launches, it extracts a bunch of files, including : ENB, ColorMod, CLEO, Palette, and other stuffs (some random .dll's)

 

Crashed for me on launch of new game.

Nice pictures for the last two sites. What I'm always curious about what people are aiming for here is

 

a) Do you want a nice compilation of settings plus good frames

b) Just want to see how much you can exceed the engine to it's limits (Nevertheless if 1 or 100fps)

I think most people tend to go for the best picture; as in some pictures; you can see there frame-rate, and its definately not playable.

 

For me, I post nice screenshots, with playable FPS. Usually 25-40; can sometimes dip to 20.

 

Everyone has there preference.

You say you want grahpics like GTA:IV; but you state in your signature that you don't like GTA:IV? Sorta contradicts itself doesn't it ?

I think that is IV:SA? ICEnhancer doesn't work for GTA:SA, as its ENB for GTAIV, just files have been renamed (and source changed accordingly)

Very nice settings, I wish my cars looked like that in-game . I've tried your settings, but don't look like that on my PC. Also, your settings say that you use SAGFX (d3d9_gfx.dll) but it doesn't say it in your pics?

I dont like GTA IV Game but the graphics or timecyc yess i like much!! or other example of the wanted for me...

Sorry bro, I can't help you out either, I don't think roadshine comes from SAGFX, but more from Bump Test ENB. I'm using Richard Burns Rally ENB atm, quite like it

I also tried DX10-mod, it removed following files from me...

gta_sa.exe

vorbis.dll

eax.dll

d3d9.dll (ENB)

enbseries.ini

colormod

 

And caused only my game to crash after load-bar, so DX10 mod might need a little fixing...

Yeah plus a few other files; I might try and disect it later; and find out whats crashing for me.

Author did state he will have a bug-free release in November hopefully.But looking @ the videos; its nothing special to be honest. Its definately not running on DX10; but more a compilation of mods.

DX10 mod use d3d9.dll from enb series, colormod, stream mem fix..

besides being a stolen mod, do not have any directx 10

has a d3d10.dll..but is fake, i checked

Haha, yeah; as I said, its nothing special. Just a compilation that someone threw together of other mods, and called it DX10

 

Haven't properly looked @ the shaders though; there might be something interesting in there.

i allways install mods in a clean folder to see what they modify before use

and..like you say, this mod isn't so special, nothing new, i've tested all of these mods before..
