1. How can I get shadows in my Peds?

 

 

2. How can I increase Peds and Vehicles density on the streets?

 

3. Apart from ENBSeries, what Mods should I use to increase San Andreas Graphics?

 

4. What ASI Files do you use?

 

Last thing, I always install these major mods: (by this order)

-SRT3 1.7

-Interiors Re-textured

-Project Oblivion 2010HQ

-Vurt's Better Colors for PO2010HQ

-T.I.P. Mod V2 Final

-Overdose Effects

 

Do you use any other major mod that I should know about?  sigh.gif

@methodunderg - Just used DYOM to enable the cutscene, also here's the effect.txt with vignette effect. (also has sharpening) link

@metho: I'm using this two trucks for replacing Sadler and Sadlsh*t:

Ford F150 OldCrate Edition

Ford F-150 '78

 

Each truck have their own Carcols and Vehicles line... Use the Handling line from the normal Ford F-150...

I haven't seen any bugs until now! Test it yourself smile.gif

 

About the Ryosuke's Skin Selector, can you tell me more about it?

-Can I add Peds with any names? Like redman.dff, redman.txd, 2pac.txd, 2pac.dff?

-Then can I be any of those Peds?

-Do those Peds appear on the streets? Or do I have to add they into gta3.img?

 

Oh, and btw, I've posted some pics on this topic already xD

 

@Dumbass-Productions: Can I use sa_lighting.asi with GFXHack.asi and ENBSeries?

 

 

I would like to use these mods, but I don't know how they work:

Normal Map

(I know someone here already explained to me, but I still don't understand)

Color Mod

(I don't know if it is good, and if it can be used with other Mods)

rollout, I have colormod. It should work just fine with other mods. You just need to make your own settings because the ones that come in the download aren't very good.

Anyway, this fixes that! I like this mod! Makes the cars look much more nice!

Yes, add any name (redman.dff/txd) But not any name that already exists for a ped (BMYDRUG,BIKERA,FAM1 etc)

Yes, you can change to the ped, and use it as a player

No, they do not spawn on the street, until you add them to gta3.img

Yes, you can spawn them as a ped.

Its a good way for testing peds, before putting them into your gta3.img.

I have 132 peds that I've tested with skin.img that Iwant to put in game. I just need to find good replacements.

 

NormalMap only works if the ped has NormalMap applied to him/her. Google Normal Map for more details.

 

ColorMod is a mod for ColorSaturation+Bloom. (I dont use it, always makes my sky go white; no matter my setts)

New game, new mods (except for timecycle and PO 2010+Vurt's grass), new enb settings and no SRT3. Using HRT 1.3, Spring Season V2, and SA New Roads HQ.

@rollout - Sure no problem! HRT 1.3 is pretty much an alternative to SRT, so high quality textures (not the whole of SA though), also adds better vegetation (not as good as PO 2010 or SA Vegetation Pack 3.0) and adds new cleo mods like better rain (when it rains the peds have umbrellas) and a few fixes (one fixes this problem of peds instantly dead when they touch the water). Spring Season V2 is just an add on for HRT, adds more cleo mods, adds animals that roams the countryside and changes the textures of the vegetation to make it look like it's Spring.

 

Also to give you an idea, I'm using the Normal Map mod and applied normal maps on this ped, you can really see it working in the fourth pic.

I've just put sa_lighting.asi in SA directory... But can't tell any difference:

Up to you! lol I would go for SRT as that's pretty much the first thing every modder must get. I'm sure over at LibertyCity.ru you can just download the umbrella cleo mod, can't find it at the moment but sure I'v seen one there.

For the umbrella mod, you can find a link in the Cleo Request Thread topic. Its at the top of the page (you might have to go back a few pages now) Or use the in-built thread search @ thebottom of the thread, and search for 'umbrella'.

 

Nice pics there nWo. I've tried out HRT and Spring Season. Didn't like the vegetation of some of the spring trees; specially @ night.. The pink ones glow ...

I didn't install the animals when I did it; just the umbrella and that rain CLEO

(Any idea how to make that rain CLEO happen less often? It seemed to rain every 5 minutes. I like the sounds that where included, and the Nature cleo too) Add ZAZ's lightning script in there too; for some good effects.

It appears to be working for you (@ least I thikn). Have you noticed a significant FPS drop from withoiut using it? I went from 30 down to 13 when using it.

I like it too.. But don't think I'll be able to use ENB and the SA_Lighting.asi.

I've spent ages config'in my ENB to suit my Rig; and have a nice mix of looking good, and still playable.

 

What does the SAGFX.asi do that the SAGFX.dll doesn't? Which one is better? I notice that it is based on the SAGFX as it gives credits to DeXx for finding the memory addresses; but it doesn't include the other files that SAGFX.dll does; the vehicle.txd and UI file; and config file.
