I have seen in a video on youtube an ENB version with shadows for buildings and more things that i want to test, but cant find. Could some one help me please  ?

Whats with the extra files ? the effect.txt; d3dx9_26.dll ? enbs_re4.ini ?

 

I've got another enb series that I found on another site, that has 4 extra d3dx_**.dll files, as well as the effect.txt and a palette. It looks sexy as hell in-game (will post screens soon when I manage to get my GTA:SA error free) but its a bit dark lol .. I'll hafta adjust the settings a bit, because I can't turn in-game brightness up, or else the rain/wind is rather bright.

He posted a 'playable' picture, not a 'scenery' picture like everyone else did .. Nothing wrong with that..

 

I use that HUD myself as well, but not the speedo .. Don't like it I'm using Darecki's instead. And I've changed the stars back to the original GTAIV stars, instead of NFS style.

I have a question for all. I want more contrast but less coloration in my game.

However in enb if increase the colorcorrection you only can increase the color and the contrast at the same time.

Is there any way to edit the contrast without enb or by an additional file or something like that...?

 

And another thing, my game crashes alot with SRT PO.07 and ENB? what stream fix or sala or whatever should I use?

Sorry for the dumb newbie question, but for these pre-sets, do we just need to drop the files (ie. enbseries1.ini) into the folder, or do we need to replace the contents of the original .ini file with the new contents?

 

I ask because I've tried both ways, and I'm still getting absolutely horrible looking results that are not reflecting what I should be getting (ie. completely wrong bloom, incorrect colors, etc). I suspect it has something to do with my laptop GPU's drivers, but I just wanted to check if I was doing anything wrong on my end.

actually Boris work on the f*cking GTA IV enb ...he dont make any ENB`s for GTA SA...forgett about that!!there wont be any updates...the next Project wich he want to start is maybe Test Drive Unlimited 2...he starts many Projects and never ends his JOB...

Please, dont say nonsense. He himself said that he was working on enb for GTA 4 AND SA too. He had some probs with enb for GTA SA - shadows.

Also, what do you mean by finished? Isnt current enb looks good enough? It works and you already have GTA SA with graphics, better than some sh*tty saints row or smth.

yeah he said already 1 year ago that there will be a update for GTA SA ENB...i dont say that it dont look good...but the problem is that the SA ENB is not optimized...runns like sh*t if you deactivate MRTRendering...even with a GTX470 i get on many places only 15-20 fps...and that´s not ok...and if i activate SSAO...then i have only 10 fps....i get only playable results if i play in 1280x720...with all effects on...and that is not accetable...not with a GTX470 SOC wich is Overcloked and wich is now faster than a GTX480!

he did... i asked him on the gta iv enb topic yesterday and he said he's allready working on a new version, but that he has some trouble with the shadows.

 

@dragozool: i think you're expecting a bit too much, he's a modder, not a payed developer, don't forget that

i dont expect too much...he made a realy good job @ GTA IV ENB...why he dont use his knowhow to make a better GTA SA ENB? the SA ENB is outdated...it was the first attempt to make smthing with d3d...now he is realy good but dont release a new version ...because he dont have any interessts on SA anymore...to say it in his words : its outdated...GTA IV is there play this!

 

and i dont get any Money too for my Mods...but i am still optimizing em for the best Performance

dont you think if he would care a f*ck about ENB series, he should stopped in SA?

Much before IV was out, even was out in Console, SA was the newest SA till IV came to PC, so concerning to versions, SA is just 1 version back from IV

so its not that "old", maybe from 2004 but pretty much stuff can be done in it

 

so i think boris doesnt do this for money, he does couse he started in SA and he believes he can show off now much more skillz than way back when he did the ENB for SA
