JESUS!

 

This version rocks and sucks at once. First, it rocks because performance got better a lot! Second, it rocks because SSAO bug with seeing objects thru other objects is fixed! Now I can finally use SSAO. Third, it sucks because I had artifacts with it. I will test again because I just formatted my Windows partition, it could be my graphics card overheating really badly (passive cooling).

The 0.074h works well on 7600gt with 169.21 default ini , with good speed (occlusion activated)

when I first start the game it look like :

but , I fix it by ALT+TAB and then return to game and reactivate the mod .

 

Btw, the water is invisible.

WTF

 

If I enable performance increases, I mean, ReflectionSinglePass=1, every car in the game becomes green... However reflections still work. It is like original car colours were coloured again by green.

Guys, i need exact comparison of performance difference from previous version and current without ambient occlusions enabled, post your stats please.

It is not exact benchmark result but performance increased about 30% from previous version with resolution 1280x1024, no AA. A measure from recording a few things with fraps. Note I have other mods, SRT3 and Project oblivion installed (texture mod and plant mod). With 0.074g, 30fps. With 0.074h, 40fps. If you have suggestions how to make an exact benchmark let me know since i've never done such. But better than nothing, and the new version seems great. Slightly more shaking picture and "twitching" map on the screen though? System specs in my signature and .ini here - http://www.mediafire.com/?0p2nzew9j11

 

edit: the map shaking or twitching was caused by motionBlur

Same settings, pretty same itinerary followed in the game

 

v0.074g:

Frames: 4109 - Time: 90531ms - Avg: 45.388 - Min: 35 - Max: 54

 

v0.074h:

Frames: 6670 - Time: 99582ms - Avg: 66.980 - Min: 40 - Max: 81

 

at 1680x1050 AA2x AF16x

Ambient Occlusion disabled, GeForce 8800 GT, ForceWare 174.53, Vista 64.

For some reason after enabling single pass cars become green (like upper) and with reflections or black and no reflections.

 

Also, I don't know if you changed reflections but new ones look worse than in previous version. And reflectionflip looks funny, but it is very own preference wink.gif

hey boris! the new version is great but I'm still getting lower FPS when 5 cars and up are on the screen with reflections. if I turn off the reflections it runs like the mod isnt on, which is really great! but please, for the next version could you try to fix the lag that the reflections are giving me? it's probably because my RAM memory isnt that good.

 

when looking at the "this computer" description (you know, right click in the start menu):

AMD Athlon 64 processor 3000+

1.81GHz, 1,00GB RAM

PAE (physical address extension)

 

GFX card: NVIDIA/ASUS 8600GT

Does the cars looks the same green in G version also if same setting applied? (G is not directly available now on the site, but it is on server, rename link if you wish to download it).

my cars are not green, i think it is AA, because on my X1300 i had AA on and my cars were green but i disabled AA and they are normal, so disable AA

ps: good optimizaton at 1024x768 i can play with all but Oclusions, and Motion Blur (i dont like Motion Blur) and get 15-25 fps on the new verson

Activate the mod ingame then back to windows Alt+Tab and return to game and reactivate it , It works for me.

after you install the mod? if so go here and get a 1.0 or 1.01 FIXED EXE no cd : *LINK REMOVED*

i am using 101 Euro and it works fine, or update your DirectX to the newest verson if the NO CD Doesint work, and just a question are you using XP or Vista?

Shadows, even in the original game, with VERY HIGH settings (you can choose it in the OPTIONS menu), are already in real-time so I don't know what you are talking about.

I'm using Limit Adjuster Alpha 7 1/2 to load ENB. After I replaced lib by G version, it worked everything well with RelfectionSinglePass=1. (same cfg)

 

However, I tried to turn off AA, try different BugFixModes, and I experienced that what car colour becomes is random. I just turned off my game - cars were BLUE! And before that cars were red. RGB connection?

Hell yeah... I don't know what happened but it's very annoying!

I tried everything in the .ini, but I can't solve this problem.

Screen is from version 0074h (this updated on 12 may) 11 may version is the same.. confused.gif

I had hope that everything would work fine, faster etc.. and a bad surprise!

btw. version g worked great.... And I have GF 7600 as I said before.

I know that the Med-Veryhigh settings turn on shadows, i meant like if you drove under a light your cars shadow would move, like in Doom 3

Neither here. Sometimes everything goes crazy instead of just XX colour reflection and game looks like it was from '90.

Do you have a Nvidia Card? maybe its a Nvidia Problem, Cause i have a ATi X1300 and i have No Problems with the mod

That is a bit funny bug... Guess, why would cars (reflections?) change colours? That's really stupid. Why it can't flicker or something so we can know what is the problem... omg

The Occlutions are like that because it seems to have a Texture Alpha problem i think and about the Reflections did you try a different DepthBias? i am not sure about the shadows though, you could try my config if you do try it Disable AA and Turn the FX Level to Very High, Here is the Config:

im using a gforce 7300gt drivers 175.16 (i tested others and no diference)

the g version worked fine for me
