[REL|Beta 0.075] ENBSeries (Graphic Change)

finally got my own settings... thanks to lil'q for giving the timecyc & enb low-med-high & gtacarpassion's blog (enb+high ingame settings) my enb is v0.074g with support for directx 8 video cards only, my settings just lags abit but if i lower it more the texture of the cars distort but does not lag, pics:

 

 

What is your video card?

 

Can i have enb like yours with Geforce FX 5500 256mb?

idk my video card is really low, i downloaded v0.074g with directx 8 (old video cards) support & my ingame settings is just high, so the outcome is this... it also lags abit on me

Looks like you are using an old Nvidia card with the wrong settings, i'd prefer to use the presets on boris's page and choose your card

you mean horisontaly? lol. they sure look wierd in that area. it's if you take the tunnel out of LS going west then when you follow it you go south, to your right near mirror lake you should see them hanging over the road.

 

I like you guys' pictures, but I cant get a good in-game feeling with this mod... lags too damn much. no matter what I do it lags like sh*t. guys with slower PCs than me says it doesnt lag much or at all, for me it's simply unplayable. I have messed around with settings and that, still lag. (occlusion stuff off, ofcourse. I bet anyone using it get some heavy ass lag!)

Actually you can get playable settings with slight lag at some areas with occlusion on and everything else(except for dof&motion blur).

 

The problem is that occ looks like sh*t with all the filters and stuff to 2, and that's one of the ways you can run it fast.

Oi! Does anyone know why my... game laggs I turned off al depth-crap, but when i turn ENB on, it still lags. (Used the version without bumpmappingz0r).

 

Pentium 4 @ 3.2GHz, Hyp0rthreading

2GB DDR RAM @ 166 MHz

ATi Radeon HD4830

It really annoys me how any ENBSeries configuration I choose to use (even if it's allegedly for an older and weaker graphics card) slows down my game even though I use an ATI Radeon HD 4870 512MB which is meant to be an all right graphics card for gaming.

 

I'm just as fed up as you are, ikt.

Seems like ENB isn't optimised for ATi rendering methods Or maybe Boris doesn't have an ATi card to test it.

I also have an ATI/ASUS card, it looks like something is wrong with them. I can use any settings, but I still have a minimal lag...

@nm69....Very cool pics!! Here's a few of mine on an unmodded install except for a few cars and timecycle...just upgraded my card to 9600GT so trying to find some settings I like. For some reason now I get less of a FPS drop now using occlusion than I do using bloom. Between 25-50 FPS with all settings except bloom and DOF...and I drop to 15-25 with bloom on...and no occlusion.

I put the ENBseries on MY PC with the max graphics and my game runs normally....

why all ppl regrets,putting low effects to GTA to earn FPS when you can put

the max ones

but with occlusion on and bloom off...everything else is the same. Forgot about motion blur. I don't have that on either. As far as the flip flop with occlusion and bloom...I know...I have gotten so used to not even trying to run the game with occlusion, but with the new card and reznor's settings I am only having trouble with the bloom now. I'll run some other settings and see if it comes out with the same results.

Not complaining at all about FPS...it's just as playable either way around on max settings. Just using FPS as a reference.

I tried enb on gta 3 :

I only got some bloom that flickers all the time and reflections which are okey . Is there anyway i can get like motion blur/shadows etc?

Crabe, impressive but, I dont think that some one is playing without car mods + your config has lowres. reflections, but such framerate on that card with this mod is great.

 

Took a few screens, installed some mods and damn, never realized that shadows are such a FPS killer...
