for some reason the water doesn't work on my machine, its too transparent and i keep crashing planes into it as i can't see it

i am using a cheap GeForce 8500 (512).

 

apart from the water issues and a few brightness issues, its the best mod i have seen for years

Look at the sites documentation to know how to edit the settings so that it plays great and looks great/no super transparent water.

Ambient occlusion runs fine on me, running on 1680 x 1050, getting 28 FPS consistently. Everything in ENB is set to HIGHEST quality possible. Shadows, bloom, HDR, reflections, even ambient occlusion!

 

Running on a GTX 260... the oldest GTX 260 (part number EVGA 896-P3-1260-AR). Everyone else here owns the newer GTX 260 (EVGA 896-P3-1255-AR)

 

Also, did anyone see the new 295 monster that came out today? J E S U S !

of course because you have an onboard VGA, you need an 9600GT or 260GTX for best

I have EVGA 512mb 9600GT.

Hahahaha people don't read these days. If you look in the readme file, it says you need shader model 3.0 to run ENBSeries, unless you want endless visual glitching.

 

Your video card (*cough* chipset, which NVIDIA and ATI stopped producing a decade ago) doesn't support full shader model 3.0

 

Hell, it's not even a real DirectX 9/10 card, because... IT"S NOT EVEN A CARD.

 

How about you read the readme (which is why they're called README files) before you waste posts like this? I mean, come on, it's not that hard to double click a read me file and give it a 30 second glance. Are you really that impatient?

1. If I try to set the shadow quality any higher (even with filtering on), they flicker like a Z depth conflict

Depends of what .ini video-card you have used from the arhive.

I have used 7600NVIDIA.ini (the first .ini from the arhive ) for my EAH 3650HD. And I get around 60fps ( and lot of mods I have in my game )

I have used radeon_2900_3xxx.ini and I was geting low than 20fps

 

So.. your choise.

I have a simmilar problem. I have a GTX280 and only 30 fps with the frame limitor disabled.

You can't turn on everything and expect it to be more than 50 FPS since this mod is largely unoptimized. Even for the godly 280.

I'm running a [email protected] 3.8GHz with a 4870x2 at 19x10 and only get 15fps much of the time. With it off, it's above 60fps 100% of the time.

 

This ENB mod is VERY unoptimized to say the least.

 

Sort of like play Saints Row 2, lol.
